I have a 185s and my chain goes on it fine it moves forward and backwards only for a little bit then ends up falling off either going forward or reverse how can I realign the rear sprocket to the front engine sprocket

Question for you I have an 82 honda 200e at low idle I get an occasional knock at low idle sounds like it's top end the bike has lot of power and the knock goes away when the throttle is increased it also has trouble idling any thoughts what it could be

Got rear ended in a hit and run at night my truck was parked. Hit the bumper and tail light. Insurance said it was totalled and the body shop wants $500 to replace the tail light and bumper. I think ill just do it myself lol.

I recently got myself a pair of those mirrors for my 1976, luckily she did have those mirrors at some point so she’s got all the holes already. Just replaced the fasteners with stainless steel and she’ll be good to go

You don't need that much oil. Unifilters are great filters. Pity they don't make one for our Toyota Yaris: Paper filters let through too much dirt i.e. ~50% of the particles in your oil are probably dirt that got in via the air filter. 🙂

just got a three wheeler and had to tighten the chain well my chain tensioner snapped as my chain would not tighten enough, should i get a new chain or take a few links off or do u think it might’ve happened because it’s older, thank you

My pull ropes always breaking. I'll put another rope on. Just push-start first start. Cold engine kills rope almost breaks arm.

I have an 85 200s The flywheel has a line with zero above it then the letter F after that it has another line with a zero above it than the letter T. The way I understand it is that I am to line up to the letter T correct ? I am wondering what the lines with the zeroes are for an what the F is for. Any insight you could give me would Shure be helpful. Thanks

Wow ive never seen anyone order OEM rope lol. I just use some nice tight braided nylon rops from a hardware store. The ripe thats currently in my recoil is nearly a decade old at this point 😄

That screen is not the oil filter. It's just a strainer. There is a centrifugal filter inside the engine. You have to remove the clutch side case cover to access it. Most people don't clean it, so if you've got an old machine which hasn't had it cleaned in a long time, it will probably have a lot of junk caked in it. Honda recommends cleaning the centrifugal filter each oil change, but in practice it seems to be fine to only do it every second one. You'll need a new case gasket, an oil filter rotor gasket, and it's a good idea to get a new O ring for that assembly as well. Easy to find on ebay. The O ring size is 16mm x1.9mm You used the incorrect oil. These take a 10w-40 oil and it has to be a JASO MA2 rated motorcycle oil for the wet clutch. The clutch will wear out prematurely without using the correct oil. My old 200S was ran on a diet of diesel 15w40 oil at one time and it ruined the clutch.

Thanks for the video. Just brought home an 84 200S tonight and the cord snapped on the 10th pull. Mine didn't have the 3 thin springs between the dogs but they retract just fine.
