How do you do it so that missles have that green triangle when coming to you?

Tbh IR missiles can be evaded by just turning off AB and popping a few flares, barely any need for special manouvers

For ir missiles all you need to do is aim your bottom of the craft near the missiles direction and shoot like 1 to 4 flares nothing fancy, if it comes from behind just cut throttle for a few seconds and flare

My favorite evasion tactic is to do a high g barrel roll towards the missle to burn its fuel and to have more time to dodge

Easiest way in my opinion is when any radar is coming from you head on, just do a corkscrew and dump a few flares and it'll fail to track and miss by a few inches

The most effective way of defeating radar missiles that I've found is to notch and beam, but while doing small S turns and chaffing every time I hit the 90 degree angle on the radar/missile. I haven't had to G-pull a radar missile in a while It's also important to note that if the missile hasn't gone pitbull (switched to the missile's own radar instead of the radar source), you'll have to notch and chaff the radar instead of the missile.

How to do it when CMs are empty: wait for missile to get close (rwr detecting it’) make sure you are able to put 10 Gs into your jet. Once it’s close pull the stick all the way up.

All that shit about pull G to evade is crap. 99% luck. You want to go down and be fast. Not climb and use airbrake loool

Most of these wouldn't work if the missiles actually did what they would do, which is explode in proximity to destroy the target with shrapnel. As soon as you pull and the missile is next to your aircraft as it flies by it would normally explode, not just go "oh damn! nice moves! I'm totally defeated!"

here’s how to evade missiles if your fucking retarded of first speed up to Mach 1 or Mach 2 most preferably your planes max speed in a nose dive and as you are at such speeds violently manover your plane while using flares once every 3 seconds and congratulations your not shot down

notching is the coolest mechanic hands down

Thanks for the tutorial, learned a few things I didn't know. At 9:42, after succesfully notching the missile, you mention it can't see you anymore. This is correct, but if the missile has an on-board radar (and is not depending on the source aircraft's radar on the last stage of flight) it totally can re-acquire lock and redirect course if you are in its cone of detection.
