I agree with him and it is hard to face when you are not able to do that. The problem is that when you dont see your parents struggle as you grow up then you dont build up yourself to have that as a priority to be the cornerstone of your family or your relationships but as a man that gives you meaning in more than one ways. Most people choose to avoig the struggle, but it means giving up on part of you what means you will not feel as a whole person and you either can live with that or you dont, it is up to you.

Best feeling in the world is family . Society ruins the definition of men

My mother is awful. She gave up on life and my parents divorced. She faked being disabled and has been unemployed for the last 20+ years. My mother is one of the most selfish people I know. As a man, I am focused on providing for my wife and kids. Those are the responsibilities in my life. I want to help take care of my mother and father but they should also be willing to take care of themselves. They are responsible for making their lives so difficult at a way too early point. It's not my responsibility to overcome the fact that my parents gave up on life so early. I will help where I can but life is hard enough without the extra baggage of selfish drains on society.

You have 0 idea how on point this is for how I naturally operate and it feels good to know that people who think like this are not fucking crazy.

"How I wanna be remembered" sounds like hes taking himself so so important. Personally Im a peaceful and caring dude. I do my things and do a lot of psychological inner work to heal my average childhood traumas. If I hate one thing, than its narcissistic people, stressing other people with there double standarts and toxic morality... wishing the best for everyone in here. its all about love - and setting borders to people that try to manipulate us... ;)
