Mill Creek Campground
We went to Mill Creek Campground on Berlin lake. This is a Corps of Engineers campground. We camped with our friends Ray and Emily from Return of the Weekend. Also, Emily's sister Sarah. They brought their boat so we could skim the waves! We went to Cove W Winery for wine slushies and burgers! It was a very hot, but fun weekend.

Letchworth State Park New York

For Memorial Day Weekend we camped at Letchworth State Park in New York. It is called the Grand Canyon of the East, and for good reason! While there we saw the Balloons over Letchworth hot air balloon festival. Hiked to see the upper, middle, and lower falls. We held our 2024 Mosquito Lake State Park Casita Owners of Ohio Fiberglass camper rally! We had almost 30 trailers this year! We also rode our Lectric E-bikes on the Western Reserve Greenway trail. Lol, Eric is the scheduler! We lucked out not knowing they had it until just prior to our trip, but apparently they do it every Memorial Day weekend. Definitely a good time to go!

Thank you! They do launches and rides every weekend at the middle falls which is the first balloon you see by itself. The field of balloons was for Memorial Day weekend only. They do it every year. Definitely worth planning for that weekend!

Great video! Had to replace mine recently as well. The gear case was shattered like yours. Very cheap pot metal type case. Needs to be a more robust metal housing considering how much these fans cost. Thanks!

We have camped there several times since it’s only 10 miles from home in Zanesville. We were just there the last weekend of March. Great campground!

I don't know if I'd mentioned it before, but Deb and I grew up near there. I was on Grandpa's farm on the south side of Bellefontaine and Deb eight miles further south near West Liberty. Both grandparents, my parents aunt, and other uncle all had places up there. I spent way too much of my youth and early adulthood at the lake. That was way back when both amusement parks were still there. A wonderful place to grow up!
That would be a great place to grow up! Especially in the time before cell phones!
We thought the Big Muskie was pretty cool.
I would love to have seen it working like Jenny did when she was younger!
The Big Muskie is always cool to see. I’ve never seen it in action though. We have driven through both Wolf Run and Jesse Owen’s and didn’t think it would be a good place to take our camper. I don’t think we’ve been to Marietta though, we have to keep that in mind.
Marietta is a great little town with a ton of history! We would love to go back for the Sternwheel festival!
Part two took me back. I too remember when Big Muskie was a working drag, and when driving (well, riding in Grandpa's car) through the area was likely to have you meet up with a giant dump truck. We camped in their Avion trailer in what is now Jesse Owens State Park. I have a scrapbook from my grandfather, who lived in Noble County as a kid. The Shenandoah crashed on the next farm over, and he took photos of the crash site that I have somewhere in a box. I also have two pieces of the fabric from the inner and outer gas bags. There used to be a piece of a spar in Grandpa's barn, but that got lost somewhere since I moved away.
That's a great story! We would love to see those photos sometime!

Nicely done video, and informative with realistic commentary about what may typically happen during any repair (loosing parts, which you didn’t…). Unfortunately this video came a bit late for me, and I just paid wayyyy too much to have the fan replaced ($700+ vs. the $20 gear box replacement 😢). I’m ready for this repair next time, thanks to you!

It was a older campground that needs some updating. Definitely research your sites before you go. There are some really bad ones there. The premium ones are nice, but no electric.
I feel like that is everywhere, the quality of the sites is inconsistent. 😏@@EricJensExcellentEggventure

We passed through Marietta last month on our way back from Florida. Pro tip: Don’t try towing a trailer through the Marietta Dairy Queen! 🤪 It looks like you had your pick of sites!
I don't know if I would try going through any drive thru with the trailer in tow. Your a brave man lol. There was another couple there two of the five nights that we were there. Otherwise, it was only us. Thanks for watching!
@@EricJensExcellentEggventure Yikes! Not the drive-through. Just getting in and out of the parking lot was a challenge. We've never ben to downtown Marietta. It looks like we need to explore there sometime.

You will definitely have to be careful picking your site since you have a bigger rig. there a quite a few with a large dip between the road and the pad. You might bottom out. Thanks for watching!

The automatic ones are really nice especially if you're laying in bed, since they come with a remote!
