In Kikuyu days of weeks similarities Arabic language in that they come from of Arabic languagu in that they come from numbers ,no we don't say wiki ,we say siku came from Kikuyu tribe thiku ,,juma is word for week we don't make Africa language from English unless Arabic or Africa language ,no we don't use greeko Roman for calendar we use ancient Egyptian or Kikuyu , like January is called mugaa . A conclude we Kikuyu created days of weeks siku za juma like Sunday jumamosi monday , jumapili Tuesday jumatatu Wednesday jumanne Thursday alhamisi,Friday ,jumatano or aijumaa from arabic Saturday jumasabathi from Arabic jumasabat.or juma.weekdays we say jumasikuu do yuo like my comments thumbs up aconclude we don't use Greek eroupean days of weeks we had own come From our own language and mother 👅
Sunday -jumamosi monday-jumapili Wednesday -jumatatu Thursday,jumaine Friday jumatano Saturday jumasabathi from Arabic jumasabathi,note aijumaa is Arabic language in alphabetical order although Saturday recognize from Arabic order .like my comments thumbs up.
I'm afraid you've been misled a lot!The fact that Swahili is a bantu language with it's root in East Africa means that many words from other bantu languages are common in Swahili language. There is no relationship whatsoever between Gikuyu and Arabic since Gikuyu is a bantu language and Arabic is a Semitic language. What we need to accept is that languages grow and Swahili is not an exception. There are so many words in Swahili from Hindi eg duka- shop, vinyo( Portuguese) - mvinyo in Swahili na kadhalika. I agree Juma= week,however Wiki too is acceptable. Don't be mislead to call Sunday - Jumamosi, Monday- Jumapili , Tuesday- Jumapili as you argue. Kindly do your homework well before slapping yourself with a broken egg on your face. The days of the week in Swahili language go as I've taught. Thank you.
@@benjaminlunalo5069 am bantu originated from cost swaahl Arabic language mean stranger, yes Kikuyu say ithatu mean tatu,but all bantu have word sound sound same and other all rule apply regard to Africa tribe and how ever cognition mighty various with religion ,l like it also how yuo teach how yuo say tomorrow morning yesterday remind me my primary school teacher mtondo ,mtondogoo keep up good work like more
