It did come with the 3 step mechanical speed control in the box. I could be wrong, but the electronic speed controller than is in it was a period corect optical part you could buy. What do you think?

@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC I am so surprised how well this handles. I did minor things. Locked the diff,90 wt oil for the shocks and some weight upfront. That was all

@rcinhand9671 all I did was lock the rear diff with wax ear plugs. Used 90 wt oil in the shocks and a bit of tow out with the front wheels. And very slow on the gas lol . Thanks for watching
