Gee, I wonder where you GoT this idea... LOL Great tutorial as always!

Thanks as always John! I didn't know you had a channel of your own! Looking forward to checking it out too!

I'm using Title Studio, but it doesn't support the fonts I've installed, and it doesn't show them. Do you think I should delete Continuum and reinstall it, or is there a better solution? Installed fonts run well in After Effects and other software. Thanks to the good and professional professors of Boris FX
Title Studio fonts have to be TrueType TTF. You'll need to convert them for them to work correctly in Title Studio. Here is an online converter than will transform other formats like OTF to TTF. cloudconvert.com/

Can we not create titles with saphhire in avid mc ?
Sure but in this case you’d have import the egg as a rendered layer. Ae is always going to be more flexible though for these multi-layer looks.

Hoy much ram does your pc have? ❤
You only need a minimum of 8GB RAM (16+ GB preferred). RAM is really mainly used for caching. If you want to throw a lot of particles around then your GPU will be more important.
Thank you so much for teaching ❤ Id like to try it right away ❤
You can grab a free trial right here : bit.ly/30GkwJY
Can particle illusion work on a 3d enviroment in davinci studio Fusion?
It's not 3D aware in Fusion. It only recognizes 3D camera camera's inside of After Effects. You can use the built-in Particle Illusion camera but it takes a bit of work.
What a madness!!! Thank you for teaching!
I think this software is great, but having these type of effects is nice, but used too much would be a bit unrealistic. You would not want it in every video. So I am not sure it would be worth a subscription. It just would not be used enough to make it worth it.
You might be surprised how much you might need some more subtle atmospheric effects like dust or fog. It doesn't always have to be about sparkles! ✨✨✨ If you're in doubt, grab the free Particle Illusion Standalone, and give that a go without any subscription.
Best❤
That’s awesome and I need to say something. The dudes before edited when they’re all white look like nullbodies from boneworks
Assalamualaikum. peace be upon you.. i have a question. can i do motion graphics with borisfx continuum? sorry i i am just learning video editing I'm still new in this so sorry for me funny question 🙂 and does borisfx support on amd graphics card?
Thanks for the question. Yes, there are certain filters that you can use to generate motion graphics elements, for example Particle Illusion. And there are also filters that enhance or stylize other elements. Usually you would use them in combination. And because they are plug-ins , they can be easily stacked together in your host application. Your graphics card must support OpenGL 2.1 or higher to get the benefits of GPU acceleration.
@@BorisFXco thank you brother for your reply.. 😊
Can you guys add this to mocha integrated making it eazier to use from your editing software?
Thanks for the feature request. I'll pass it on to the team. Just so you know, Silhouette is available as a plugin for Adobe & OFX already. Might be worth checking out.
Great job. It gets more powerful with these updates.
Thank you. Yes it does!

Thank you so much. That's a lovely comment.
What's hilarious is that about 15 years ago, I had to turn down a potential client because he needed a logo replaced on a shirt in a series of educational videos. With what I had available at that time (AE), it would have taken me hundreds of hours, and his budget wouldn't have handled it. So I told him to just reshoot the video. Maybe I should call him....
Haha! Yes, it's a lot easier to handle those shots now. Time to invent that time machine and get the job.
You had me at ‘not very advertiser friendly’ Subbed
I’m right in with Ben … I’d like too much your mindful
It sounds like we should move that one up the list then.
Terrible tutorial, just pushing buttons quickly is not that helpful.
Sorry to hear that. We have another one that has a deeper dive into what AdjustTrack is and when to use it here : borisfx.com/videos/mocha-pro-adjust-track-advanced/ Hopefully this one will be better for you.
I like the ability to record and preview, but would love to bring what was done in the preview over to the main window or save it.
That's a great idea. I'll pass it to the team.
Yes some kind of Motion Sketch function would be a useful timesaver 😊
Excellent 👍🏽👍🏽
I have a question while using syntheyes. Can you tell me what workflow should be followed for videos that include tripod shots and shots with movement? Do I have to cut each part, track them separately, and then merge them? For example, install an action cam on your helmet and look around in place. Then, after running while looking straight ahead, take photos left, right, up, and down from the same spot.
There are other ways to do it, but if you can split the solve into separate parts do that. Use Merge project to bring different parts together in the same project. You can then make sure that your elements are all sharing the same scaling and orientation. Join our Discord channel if you have some more questions : www.borisfxdiscord.com/
Thank you for this excellent tutorial! I’m particularly interested in the Color Link feature. Could you please clarify if it’s possible to purchase it separately, or is it only available as part of the complete Continuum Bundle?
Hi! You can purchase BCC+ Color Link as part of the Color and Tone Unit (borisfx.com/products/continuum-units/color-and-tone/?collection=continuum-units&product=continuum-units-color-and-tone/ )
@@BorisFXco thanks 😊 😊
any tutorial for davinci resolve available for BCC Lights?
Not at the moment, but I will put it on the tutorial list. It should work in exactly the same way as in other hosts though.
a superb video for a person that is just getting into roto and siluete
Carlos is so good. Thanks for your comment. I agree completely.

when the screen is crossed by other objects, such as pollen or brushes, it all stops working)
You need to set up some track mattes. Basically, shapes over the top of the screen you are tracking. Have a look at this video (starts at 4:30 and also interesting at 7:09) and it will go through those steps for you : czcams.com/video/TF3XVBy6sD4/video.htmlsi=w1q_mqFnigOsj8Dw&t=271
Does this method work for shape layers as well instead of particles?
If it's a 3D shape, then yes. This technique will give you the 2-3 points that you need in 3D space. What you do with them is very flexible.
would be great if u push the tutorial forward and show us how to make your final pro version, with the advanced lighting and reflection. thansk !
Yes, that's a good idea for a more detailed tutorial.
@@BorisFXco i would really love that!
I have a few questions. help me please 1. How do I export to Fusion included in DaVinci Resolve? 2. Perform the lens workflow and then export it to Blender. The exported file has background and distortion as shown at 9:15 seconds. After placing the model in this state, should I render it as un-distorted when rendering it in Blender? And do I have to re-distort this again?
1. You can use the Fusion exporter from SynthEyes to create a .comp, then go to File > Import Fusion Composition inside of Resolve. It will create the scene for you with every node you need in the flow. 2. Re-distortion is usually done at the compositing stage. If you're rendering a full comp from Blender, you can do it then. If it's going somewhere else, you'll probably want to render out un-distorted and use the calculated lens to bring all the CG elements together in comp.
@@BorisFXco Thank you for your kind reply. Let me ask you one more thing. If you shoot a video that involves turning your head, there will be a lot of motion blur. Is there a way to track this correctly? When running in the traditional way, there is no tracker at all in areas with severe motion blur.
Severe motion blur is always going to be tricky. If there's no detail at all then you're going to have to manually add points in. In terms of your pixel accuracy, it's going to be quite forgiving in those areas of high motion.
thanks!!
You're welcome!
Yessir! Thank you so much for this. Please keep them coning 👏🏿👏🏿
looks like a cool upgrade
Not working
Which bit? Please can you clarify.
Boris Fx rickrolls me. Nah, I can't 😭
Thanks for your tutorials, they really helped me understand SynthEyes. It would be great if you showed how to find "depth". If with shots where there is not enough of everything, everything is fine, but when tracking a metropolis, syntheyes go crazy with depth) And it seems that when, for example, the edges of one building should be on the same line, then in synthese the difference between these points is simply cosmic, so It's almost impossible to build a good geometry around such tracking)
This may be a scenario where setting up more constraints is a good idea. We have a couple of (admittedly rather old) tutorials available here : borisfx.com/videos/?tags=product:SynthEyes&search=constraint If you have some specific questions, please join our Discord community. It's good to get more voices there : www.borisfxdiscord.com/
