Care to share what clutching your running? I have a 1025 crankshop and do 1320 radar running and just looking for any improvements. Cant find much info in these big block crankshops. Any helps is appreciated!
our set up will not help you out as we are set up for 660' snow drags. i would try 286 ramps, start at 21 gram pin weight, 230-380 primary spring, 50 degree helix with a goodwin blue spring, and stock 26-43 gearing since you are running 1320'. once again these are all estimates but it should get you in the ball park. are you running an airbox?
Thanks for the reply, thats basically what I am running now except I have a 50-47 helix at about 21 pounds or so. No air box just K an N filters. My best speed with a 1 inch track stock ride height and carbide studs was 119 in 1320. Are you on dootalk? Beautiful collection of machs by the way!
119 is pretty good, I am not on doo talk, thank you for the kind words.
Well how fast is fastest top two sleds...120mph+?
they are clutched and geared for 660 ft. for drag racing, still with this set up 119 and 116 in 1000 ft. on snow and you will get there very quickly.
Hey Jason got any nice ones for sale
Sick collection
Wish I had a collection like that
Is the front chrome bumper a wrap?
no it is real chrome.
@@jasonpalka9060 oh okay, never seen one like that
Things TITS!
Very nice sleds. When those were new i wouldnt take them seriously. Too nose heavy and noisey. I was always a big bore 2 cylinder guy. Mxz 670, 700 etc. In hingsight i would kill for one of your sleds now. So much more to them than i used to think. This video is fun for me because im a ski doo man all the way bit im a closet cat guy too. Thnx for sharing uour hard work!
Yes we started out as twin guys also but got tired of wearing out clutches and drive line parts when the triples came out we switched and never looked back. We can not seem to wear them out. Funny how the magazines use to complain about the weight of the triples but they say nothing about these new huge top heavy snowmobiles, ours parked next to them look like 3/4 scale sleds.
Dynaport rocks!
Absolutely gorgeous machine I own six different ones over the years just magical. Nothing better than a triple.
I have a 2001 mxz 800 with a big bore kit, it's a bear to pullstart, your 1100 starts easier than mine any ideas? Thanks
our sleds are really never started in cold weather after sitting outside, they are pulled into a heated garage every night. i am sure they would also be hard to start if they sat out all night. try to keep the engine warm if this is your case (engine heater or electric blanket)
One question… seats look brand new. You replacing as the day/years progress?
Insane!
Nasty! 👍
Bad to the bone!
Rotax power!
That’s a thing of beauty right there!
It sure is a great sled.
Kick ass
What outside of a db test could they possibly nail you for? And even then, the DB test ought to easily be contested. So many variables that play into noise.
state of Wi. DNR came up with a db test, do not quote me on this it was 2 years ago, it was 4 feet up- 12 feet away- at 4000 rpm. you had to be under a certain db, i think it was 89, or you got a ticket. they were checking everyone that sounded modified. a firecat 700 with a can got checked right after us, failed, and got a ticket.
@@jasonpalka9060 Sounds like something you could contest in court, but wouldn't be worth it. You'll see all sorts of shenanigans at race tracks with dB limits. It's a BS test with too many variables out in the field to be concrete. Sounds like a money grab. Also a good thing to be aware of.
yes you are totally correct.
Sexy Fast!! 😮
An old friend had a Mazh Z that was so fast it would stretch its track so bad the studs would hit the tunnel....good times......Yet we survived😜
Beauty!
Sweet ride. Love the “Z”.
what year is this Skidoo Mach Z 800 from?
Beautiful sled, interesting can setup, is that crank shop as well?
the engine package, pipes, and muffler are by Russ Lemke.
One of these days I’ll find one of these in mint shape like yours is for sale !😊
For $10,000 you can get one.
Wicked sled 👍
Nice 9ne is right beauty
Beauty!!!!
Had a 2001, it was a fast sombitch when it ran blew it up three times in the first month as brand new one time it melted a piston while ideling to warm it up that was the last time got rid of that poor thing
definitely sounds like you had an issue with a lemon. we have not had any piston problems and have a ton of trouble free miles on our z's.
@@jasonpalka9060 oh I agree the dealership gave me all the sale price back, and I walked out with a 700 legend,,but as for raw power nothing was like the Mach z,it was arm stretching scary fast
Extremely picky about the carb sync.... keep that in mind and best of luck, sound no to bad
And another secret is... get rid of that huge, big ass can
yes we always keep them in fine tune.
Why do you guys have to keep teasing us?! Are you that bored with no snow?!
That machine is spectacular
yes this weather definitely sucks!
Nice one!
👍 thank you
Very nice Z !! I'm a cat guy and definitely not a hater of the other brands. I have a '00 T-cat and love he old triple's. That being said, Those old Mach Z's were an awesome machine. You did a great job with the upgrades!
thanks a lot. i also had a 00 t-cat green le that someone stole from me at a bar in eagle river Wi. when it was brand new. i sure would love to find the sled and who took it.
My goodness. I would kill for that sled. Love a late gen Mach Z triple 800
its tough to beat the look of the mach z. i bought this one brand new and was bit by the ck 3 bug. very reliable sleds we can't seem to wear them out.
Very nice collection!!!!!
thank you
What a truly beautiful sled. That thing is a dime.
thank you
Crank shop Mach monster Beautiful sled must rip down the lake would love to pull the trigger on that one.
yes it truly is a fast sled and its fun tearing down the trails also. thank you!
This one sound like a miracle!!! Thank you. I hope you some snow ! Bad condition here in Québec too...
I hope snow conditions improve for us as I want to make some more videos, but it's not looking to good right now.
Incredible

If you're gonna have one Arctic cat why wouldn't you have the thundercat?😮 Super nice collection 😊
the only reason I have this Arctic cat is because it was given to me. if someone would give me a Thundercat I would take that also!
Very nice
Thanks
Sick ol rigs
thank you so much
As a Polaris guy I still have to say(absolutely beautiful set of horses in your stable) Love it man
