So many little twiddly pieces I can lose.
As a solo filmer, would this setup alone be able to focus and track me ?
Best for? lol
Thank you for this - I've been thinking of getting this lens and this has been very helpful
Just got mine today …. V8 ….. charging now I got 4 mins of bliss lol lol very impressed as I was getting overwhelmed by all the models and this is perfect love how quite it is and the suction was fantastic…. I can now give my partners DeWalt hand held vacuum back ….. awesome review
How long does it last for tho? If it’s more than 4 or 5 years then Okay!!!!!
You can keep using a mac for 10 years plus. They are super reliable
how it compare to fulaim x5/ neewer cm28?
Good luck and you need to post more often. I used the affiliate link👍🏻
Buy 3 x ser 7 32/1tb for the price of 1 x m2 pro mac mini Same performance ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..,,,,,,
On paper maybe, but the mac mini is so portable and well built!
I am looking at getting a go pro to film craft work, as they are much cheaper than a camera. I need to do an overhead shoot so I can film myself working at my desk. Is there anything that can work? I am currently using a mobile ph, but can't view the screen, as I am working.
Why not check out the mounts shown in this video czcams.com/video/VR_hA1Rfh1I/video.html Might be useful to you
Can anyone suggest a good third party monitor for this Mac Mini? I need at least 27 inch. I am not paying £1.5k for the Studio Display.
Anything 5K in 16:9 format is okay for starters. When you start earning money, you go with Apple monitors for maximum performance and eye candy.
sell me one, please
Is the same Raveneye from RS 2?
Yes, it's the same
Nice video mate! Was looking for a quick walkthrough on it, always looking for the next little item to help clean things up like this.
Parece que se compro en Ikea...😮
People are stressing me out in reviews saying get the 16g but I’m upgrading from a 2012 MacBook Pro 😂 I just wanna do some basic tasks and some light design work like the odd simple vector design and business cards. I get some discount through my partners job so I can get an 8g M2 Mac Mini and an Ultra 4K Samsung monitor for £800. Am I worrying about nothing?
I would also suggest the 16gb version tbh.

can I use an iPhone 15 Pro on this gimbal DJI RS4 PRO
@@stephanlewisthis might be a bit much for the iPhone. You should go for a much smaller gimbal
@@SamuelRush okay thank you
Sony FDR-AX700 Will this gimbal work
Why would you upgrade from RS3 3 Pro?
There's a new switch to change the joystick between gimbal movement and a zoom motor. You can swap between horizontal and vertical shooting easily with the new plate. 20% more torque in the motors. In the real world these features are an improvement and worth the upgrade for some. For some users that use cameras and native lenses you can assign the focus motor to zoom/iris as you can focus those lenses without a motor and operate two things with one hand!
is FIZ focus iris zoom?
It sure is! 🎉🎉🎉
Hello, can it shoot in vertical?
You can either tilt it all the way forward with your camera rotated 90 around from the standard position or mount your camera in vertical mode by using a cage or L-shaped plate
@@Rush-Reviews thank you for your answer.
@@Tygrysek1993you can also unscrew the head and put a different mount on if you need
03:46 true but that becomes a good thing if you're capturing audio from someone else
I was choosing between a samsung, crucial mx500, and sandisk ultra. As far as I know, they all have dram and 3d nand, but sandisk is cheaper. I chose Sandisk 😊
Moin.
This remains my favorite standard portrait lens, even compared to my Olympus 75mm ƒ/1.8 (which also a fantastic lens but the range is a bit far and compression is a bit exaggerated for my tastes). The 42.5mm... it's tiny, it's dual stabilized with Panasonic bodies, it has a rather short minimum focusing distance for light "macro" work, is beautifully sharp and has nice bokeh........ it's never let me down, either!
I also have the 100-300 ii... great lens with amazing stabilization, and amazingly compact for that focal range! Worked amazingly well at a track meet I attended last weekend. Highly recommend.
I'm so annoyed about the belief that the M-series machines needs less RAM than the Intel ones. That's wrong and an ill advice for all your viewers.
I have owned Intel Macs for years (and power PC before that) and you definitely need less RAM with the M series than intel, the 8GB M2 mac mini I have now smokes all my previous Intel makes in terms of speed, and if you use a good quick external SSD for all of your data and keep most of your software and data on that and the main hard drive relatively free so it can blaze through swap space then its pretty unlikely the SSD will fail anytime soon. I never have slow downs or lock outs, having said that my use of the Mini is as a plex server for the house, I use it as a web dev for coding and the like and run a couple of k monitors off it and use it in conjunction with a decent thunderbolt hub, but honestly I NEVER see slowdown or have short of memory errors and the fan never cuts in to a speed where I can hear it either, my old MacBook Pro i7 Quadcore with 16GB RAM always sounded like a plane taking off when given anything slightly stressful to do, I also own an M1 MacBook air in its base config which I've had from brand new and again it smokes all my old Intel Macs and the battery lasts 14-16 hours for general use,.
@@craigsketo Thank you for sharing your experience. But: While it’s true that M-series Macs are faster with the same amount of RAM as Intel-series, the idea that they actually NEED less RAM than Intel Macs is a misconception. Here are a few key points: 1 RAM requirements are determined by the tasks you perform, not the CPU architecture. Intensive tasks like advanced math studies, music making or running virtual machines still require substantial RAM. 2 Although M-series Macs have fast SSDs that handle swap memory very well by yesterdays standards, relying on swap memory too often can wear out the SSD and doesn’t replace the need for adequate RAM. 3 For light tasks, 8GB might be sufficient, but more demanding tasks will benefit from more RAM to avoid slowdowns. While M-series Macs are a significant improvement, it’s crucial to have enough RAM for your specific needs to ensure optimal performance.
@@MR-vj8dn it’s not a misconception though, as you state yourself they do need less RAM for the average user, any power user shouldn’t be buying an entry level machine and a power user would know that, these 8gb machines are perfectly adequate for a high percentage of normal users, I’m 54 and grew up learning 6502 assembly language, C++ and making games and programming run in 64k of memory and to this day I run a farm of servers for one of the worlds largest companies in its sector so I’m pretty clued up on hardware coming from the era of HP and IBM servers and having to move with technology. I agree it’s horses for courses but the main point still stands almost all users apart from specialist will be perfectly happy with 8gb. The swap memory destroying the ssd thing whilst certainly possible as far as I understand it has not been a major issue with returns for apple considering it is now 3.5 years since the M1 hit the market so I agree it can definitely happen, but for the average user doing average things is very unlikely
The scissors on the wingman are just terrible. I had the sidekick and wingman and ended up giving them to my kids to throw in their tackle box. Dollar for dollar neither one stood up to my rebar which I have put through absolute hell and it’s still kicking.
Thank You
Master Caddy II, quite good until you decide to use the Atomos Connect with your Ninja V/V+. Then you'll find you really need the Master Caddy III as the II will no longer fit.
Is there a way to get this to run 4k@120hz?
Yep it can do it
@billb8262 I've been trying to do it with a Cable Matters c to hdmi and I can't get it to work. Any recommendations?
@@Kaiokikaider Did you try one of the display resolution apps for Mac? You may need one that allows you to select 4K and higher refresh rate. Not sure if the default display settings app can. I think I used EasyRes or something like that to run an external and control its refresh rate when I did it.
@@billb8262 Thank you so much for the reply! I didnt know there was an app for that! i'll try it later today and let you know if it works. Thank you again!
@billb8262 almost worked. It'll do 120hz but only at 1440
So I have the m2 Mac mini. Just bought it. I saw your review and pulled the trigger on this riser and WOW. Looks awesome and functions exactly as advertised with no issues. Super impressed!
The real cost is not $599. 8GB isn't good for professionals in the 2020s. The real cost is with 16GBs, so $799. At that price it is slightly above the BeeLink SER7 and Geekom A7. For the MacOS fans, that is still an excellent price to stay in the MacOs ecosystem. Even better if you use the student discount of $100, then it becomes. $699. To bump up the SSD space to 512GB, it will cost another $200. Thus, $899 total. Excellent deal for 16/512GBs, including the student discount.
Hello. I have max lens 2.0. There is a difference in quality between the 4k 60 images I took with the original hero12 lens and the 4k 60 images I took with the Max lens 2.0. The image is blurry with the Max lens 2.0, the focus is less, I get much better picture quality without the Max lens, is this normal?
Can you use rechargeable batteries in this?
Yes, I use these geni.us/DAAR
Thank you
Agreed ... excellent value for the price !!! 🤔 question: you know what are the PAD buttons for...? I haven't seen any explanation in YT ever.... Thanks!
You can use it if the audio source is too loud
@@Rush-Reviews thanks!
It generally helps you keep your levels from peaking if the source itself is too loud. Say you had an electric that was raging and you gain it down as far as you can and it’s still raging and clipping. Thats where the pad would come in handy because you can turn it on and it drops the lower bound of your threshold to -20 db giving you a bit more head room to get that track in it’s sweet spot.
what type of watch are you wearing?
Garmin fenix
The fact that this is like $179 is still a steal, even if the Essential version is coming out soon.

I hear a back-noise all the time, is it normal to you? I have the same ones by the way and I think I don't have that problem
Some constructive criticism - this was not really a very critical review. A NUC PC that costs the same or less can also run the programs you described, all at the same time, but usually the RAM and SSD can also be upgraded. Yes, for a basic computer user, this is a decent machine (although if RAM or SSD goes wrong out of warranty, it’s basically a paperweight). However, for a slightly more demanding user, it’s just not a good deal. If you want a more capable machine, you’re looking at double the price. I like Apple products, but you’re paying for the marketing and design, and I hate the feeling that their price gouging has reached a new level, now that they’ve eliminated the options for user upgrades. Just look at their profit margins.
what do you recommend from a mini pc thats more customizable
Ive been on the fence the last 3 days about picking this guy up or waiting on the Essential version.
I like your up to date reviews. Does it scratch the monitor?
