Not Armenian. That didn't exist then. Today, Aramaic is considered a dead language. But it's older than Hebrew. And the version of Hebrew you may be familiar with is mixed with the modern vernacular. Aramaic is one of the oldest languages. Hebrew is derived from Aramaic.
