I got a pack today. The find far away does not appear to work. The device is with my partner (who is not with me) and her iPhone BT is on. However, its last reported location is still with me, when I set it up, 4 hours ago… Update - it did eventually start to work. Other trackers from the pack worked (find far away) straight away

Hi, I'm a student and I'd like to know if the M3 base model is capable of doing tasks for research, ms excel / google sheets, docs, ms teams, jamovi, tableau, canva, and figma (only light use/free version)? My workflow revolves around these applications and let me know if its feasible. Also, what browser would you recommend (aside from safari), that is not heavy on ram?

Cool take! But a lot of artists use ipads for drawing and animation, which can require a lot of resources! Thats why the apple pencil keeps getting upgraded and its separate so that the artists spend extra money for the pencil as well.

I ordered this desk yesterday 04-07-2024 it is due to be delivered tomorrow. One thing to keep in mind is that the desktop is hollow to keep down the overall weight. If you add weight with a more solid too it will impact on the speed of the motor in raising the desk. I do have a solid desktop that I might swap out for the bundled one - I can always take the bundled one back.

I finally tried the Vision Pro. I was both blown away and disappointed. It does feel amazingly real and totally immersive. But, it is very heavy and the screens, while great still feel like screens.

I'm still using a regular Pad. Sometimes I use a legal pad if I'm feeling crazy.

I just got these and I am super impressed. This may come as a very controversial statement but these are are way better than sony's WF-1000XM4. Fit plays a huge factor judging a pair of earbuds and I guess the motif just fits my ears a lot better and that's why they sound so much better in my opinion. The custom eq is also what makes them superb. You can dial in the settings to match your unique hearing and make the experience a lot better. Yes, the noise canceling isn't on par with sony, but it's really not a big deal at all. It is good enough to filter out significant background noise. Best buds I have had so far, and the best looking as well!

Ive been looking at Macbooks for several months at this point and I cant for the life of me find the sweetspot between performance, price and feeling like I wont have to worry about the future for at least a few years. Apple really has made sure that the only way to get peace of mind is to dig deep in that wallet of yours

This is my first MacBook air m3 never had any MacBook ever before and my first impression with the base model MacBook m3 is good for what I am using it for. But of course if you want to pay more for a better one thats fine. But for me its not worth it when they all ware out. I think for the average person the base model will do the job fine. Nothing wrong with the base model macbooks it works and thats really what counts. Other options for different peoples needs.

M1 MacBook Air is the best MacBook I’ve ever had. Bought in in 2020 for 844€, my first new MacBook and it still works perfect and i don’t feel any reason to replace it.

Don't know why you've chosen to fit the earbuds sticking out like that. Had mine over a week, so far they are the best compared to the Pro's of the apple, google, nothing, Samsung's earbuds. I get the impression that you had already decided not to like this product before you even opened the box.

Which MacBook floats your boat at the moment? So much choice and bargains to be had on second hand M series Macs just now also, that it can be hard to make up your mind. Maybe I can help?

Thanks for the video. I feel much the same as you: the top itself is a bit shit, but the sites I've found that will cut a decently chunky oak top to the Idasen's size specs are quoting over £300! May just buy this all in for now, then swap the top out for a big boy one in the future.

Unless you are a heavy gamer, the M3 MacBook Air base model is all the computer most people need. I would upgrade to 16 GB of ram personally to future proof. 256 GB SSD is fine for me since i work primarily off the cloud. Again, other than gaming, the Apple ecosystem is far superior than Windows.

One can purchase a brand new M1 MacBook Air for $699…at Walmart.

You could get a ROG Zephyrus G14 for a little more than this and you'll get a nicer screen, more ports, and faster graphics. M3 Pro though, is the one to get for power users. That one will chew through pretty much any video you can throw at it. I think the base M3 is only good for 4K.

I have it paired with a canon rp and I’m not sure why the video comes out a bit blurry while the pictures are crystal clear. I also use a 85mm and my 70-200mm and have no problems with blurry video. Not sure what the problem is

A lot of filmmakers make good videos. Just one tiny bit of tip for future videos: respect your voice more and turn the music volume way lower, so people with speakers/studio setup can hear you nice and clear without the music deafening your voice. Other than that, quality video! :)
