I think an exterior wrap (house wrap, etc) is smart over wood, however it's not required for garages / sheds. In my area only required for houses.

I'm a professional roofer working at New York state for more than 40 years.. and my specialty besides all other types o materials is slate and coppersmith....I love real dlatesy brsidrs those fake slates ..I am still selling the real stones for all my customers...my fellows roofers who starts offering these fake slates got sued since the beginning of it years ago ..most of them are out of the business now... when they first introduce this fake slates decades ago, was so beautiful pieces of work but with a time was proven that they deteriorated quickly and is hard to replace a broken piece, so .I still under the old styles real slates...a little heavy but lasts longer...again, that's my point of view ..good luck to you guys, I will be retiring soon.

As a fellow professional I think it’s absolutely ridiculous for people to judge your work based on how much time it takes. They might be able to DIY but it would likely take way longer.

My roof had leaks on add on and mobile home. My roofer said it was add on. Had add on repaired new roof. Leaks still. Turned out it was from Mobile home. Had roof repaired on mobil.

Remind me to never ever have them work on one of my roofs. Nail a 2x4 right on an asphalt shingle ( there is now a permanent hole there-in all layers)

You have to use roof jack on asphalt shingles also you'll put holes in it if you nail a 2 x 4 right on top

I get those people from time to time in Pittsburgh. Phone call, conversation and returned money works in most cases. In my mind they know what they are doing and expect their money back. Can’t go around it and just dealing with it one customer at the time .

there is a very small percentage of customers, who, lets face it, suck, the ones you wished you'd never met, this customer doesnt know jack about how a business operates, you helped this bum out in an emergency and he turned on you, I'd kept his money and told him to never call back again, bad review or not, I enjoy your videos
