Weekend Paddle Boarding At Thornwick Bay
I arrived Saturday evening at Thornwick Bay and had a few hours on the board as the weather and sea conditions was beauty. I enjoyed it that much I came back on the Sunday morning and had a brilliant afternoon
This small bay is located on the north coast of Flamborough Head. The beach is mainly rocky with a few caves and a magnificent sea arch in the cliffs.

I started at Winnats Pass. Walked through and up. I followed the all trails app map route. First summit was Mam Tor then walked across the ridge to Loose Hill. I use an app called park4night. It tells you where you can and can’t. People leave reviews of that area. It can also tell you campsites

Great to meeting again 1st time Glencoe briefly at the rescheduled takeover and only my 2nd TentBox Takeover so just getting into it (a little out of my comfort zone as only camped alone in the past, but great to meet with friendly like minded people), camp site was great weather was amazing. Campfire gathering on the Saturday night was great, booked up for Loch Ken and Glencoe later in the year, hope to catch up with you and fellow TenBoxers at another TB Takeover.
I’ll be going loch Ken. Maybe one down south and deffo be back at Glencoe :)
