Yeah you lost me there bud I will stay subscribed but will turn off notifications don’t support these assholes from sa they are as anti American anti gun as surefire and the nra
They are both worth having.
Why not have both?🤷♂️
Is the Marlin an Illion, New HAven or Ruger Marlin ?
The Marlin is not composite it is laminate wood Ricky from IBM
So, you can get a marlin, or a copy of a marlin
Henry is just a knockoff of the old Marlin. Bottom line!
I definitly am bias toward the henry. I have a 22 and 44.
Nice rifle.
Is that left handed Henry a custom item by Henry? How much do they charge for that?
Video is flipped. Sorry
I would always prefer Marlina though :)
The Henrys look better.
I like both. But I like colt the best
You lost me at the bullet arc's. Bullets NEVER arc. They leave the barrel and drop accordingly.
If it wanted to eat you, you wouldn’t have seen it until it was too late. It doesn’t know that you can’t smell it, so it would half-circle you downwind and then you would get a 35 mph charge from downwind before you could crap your bvd’s. ALWAYS carry a puffer bottle and periodically check the air direction when out in bear country, so you can keep the 3rd eye checking that direction. Otherwise you won’t be fast enough. A bear that is curious or surprised or bluff charging might flee from mace…but one that circles you and charges from downwind is gonna eat.
How were you even allowed to be a guide in bear country without spray and big iron lol, who runs that tour man yikes.
I like both of the modern versions of the Henrys with loading gates and Ruger manufactured Marlins. I have a chambering in each brand and will probably get others. Some models of both brands have threaded barrels, and I like that feature on them as well.
great story
Love the jacket. Where can I get one?
The Henry “choice” loading system is better in my opinion. And the steel receiver and color case hardened receiver of the Henry is beautiful. I also like the 22 inch barrel length. And the transfer bar safety is great.
An older friend got me into SA, and got my first SA (Ruger Bearcat) when I age 13. Later as an adult I owned a Ruger SBH 44 Mag (3 screw), Ruger Super Single Six (3 screw) and a Ruger Old Army (yes I like Rugers). I really got into the cowboy fastdraw, fanning the SA and the mystique and simplicity of single actions.
Excellent video
45-70. Because I have an extra shoulder.
i have a henry golden boy 45-70, love it. bought it and 5 boxes shells
RUGER,Ruger, Ruger, Ruger, Ruger Ruger Bisley!!
Ruger Marlin I'll never own a Henry
Buy a real Marlin JM model
I want a Garand….impressive
Marlin wins on looks in any model.
Both are awesome. Personally, the Marlin looks better, just like on my shotguns. I prefer the mag tube to run to the end of the barrel.
We do know Henry manufactures an (All Weather) version that is literally identical to the Marlin trapper. Like they said, it is all about personal preference.
Coisa linda, calibrão 👍👍👍
Smart choice
Great outfit and background, they detract from the narrative/info.
I prefer the Marlin but to be fair now you can get the Ruger made Marlin in blued steel and wood stocks so visually the guns would be more equal. I own Marlin and Henry lever guns and both are great.
Nice piece..you’re living the real American dream out there..I’ve been wanting the New vaquero in 357 w a birds head grip..some day
Both good…personal preference like everything else
Both wood
Ruger Blackhawk .357 was my first gun I bought myself. Still have it. I also have a Ruger Old Army and a Ruger Vaquero .45 Colt/.45 ACP. I like the old stuff....with updated modern metallurgy and safety. Hope to add more variations (Bisley grip, Bird's Head grip, different calibers) soon.
You have any proof! Where is the video?
Is the Ruger stainless?
If your Henry's action is worse than that marlin, send it back because something is wrong
It's simple...Marlin developed the 1895 first and MANY YEARS later Henry copied the design as well as their ....22 lr lever gun and Long Ranger taken from Browning! Nuff said.
Where can i get that belt i would like one size 32 for 5.56 Nato
It was custom. Trying to find someone to make them
Can't believe the sling you have on the Henry! Single leather strap my man loop it for muzzle jump
You’re damned sure better off on foot with your rifle in this situation and terrain. That’s called Infantry.
You said, “Anyhow, I got this Grizzly…” and an Ad came up! Damn it! SKIP! SKIP! Great story!
In its day it was a buffalo round at long range... It was a man stopper for the Army. It was a round sought after by many hunters... I had my time with it, it was my back up in hog country north Georgia mountains..... Jerry
Nice rifle buddy
Thank you. Hope all is well!
