Glad you agree. 😊 I love Canva, but I am under no illusion that it's perfect. There are some things it just can't do, but I think there's a lot that CAN still be improved. I do like that Canva are constantly evolving tho. (or were you referring to the cringey rap? 🤣😜)

OOO...which tool do you mean? I always crop just using the little handles on the edges of the image boxes!

@@createdbywayne When you put a photo into a frame and let's say there's a girl walking but it doesn't show just right, you would hit crop and pull it over/line it up in the frame just right. I cannot find CROP. Thx

I hadn’t noticed that! If you are changing the color of a block or shape , open the extended menu that pops up in the right. Then change the color and it does give the option to change all. However, it does look like that is not available for changing font color!! I’ll update you if I find out why! 👍🏽

That effect is just using the 'match & move" transition to create the animation. I just rotate the text box and move it so the text is off the screen, but the box is still on the slide. Then 'Match & move" does the movement for us.

Hey Monica! A carousel in IG can be up to 10 slides - and the slides can be images or video. These ideas are ways to make those slides/videos more engaging - you could use as many (or as few) as you like within your carousel.

Hey Andreas! I have just checked in the new Canva dashboard, and when you are inside a design in Canva, you can still go to FILE > SETTINGS > SHOW RULERS & GUIDES and drag a guide onto the page. Also if you are inside a design the SHIFT+R shortcut still works. Give it a try!

Hey Juan! Thank you so much 😊. That phone animation was done in After Effects. Canva's animation tools don't allow for that level of complexity (yet) unfortunately. There are some video mockups in Canva where you can add a STILL image in, but not a video within a video yet. Hope that makes sense?

That's done in Premiere Pro - I've used it for years, and it's a more powerful option for my longer videos.

Unfortunately Canva has a file upload size limit, and as much as I love Canva it is not robust enough for editing long video clips I'm afraid. You could always create the graphics in Canva and just animated them in your video software, or even try using a 'green screen' background if your editing software makes that easy to do.

Hi Nina - it would depend on what it is exactly. You can add multiple layers of video, so a transparent overlay or effects can just be put over the existing video. But Canva doesn't allow you to export video with a transparent background (yet).

@@createdbywayne I wanted to add a little bit of effect on my videos to make them extra magical, like white stars flying across, or white energy waves expanding from the centre outwards.
