Finally, I have found a concrete, instructive video that helps me plan our trip to Madeira. Great job on keeping the focus on the island, nature, experience and giving good tips. Most other videos I have watched were too much focusing on marketing hotels and restaurants or beautiful images and videos of themselves! I loved that you also used a map to help with the general sense of direction and splitting the island in two zones!

Decided to book a trip to Japan. My parents amd I decided to make Kyoto our hub to go around places nearby like Osaka, koyasan and so on as day trips. That's only for 7 days of our 16 days in japan. We're just taking things slow cuz we don't like having to jump around cities, lugging around luggage even if we pack light. But that's just our preference. Having a hub to go to and from places. Rest of the time we are hoping around towns amd cities we want to check out. And then spend a few days in Tokyo.

UPDATE May 2024: First off, big thank you to Su for creating this amazing video that inspired me to fullfil a lifelong dream of going to the Faroes. Just got back in late May and wanted to share a couple of updates- 1. Mykines- Take the ferry to Mykines because it will take you right up close to Drangarnir so it would be foolish to take a private boat and the Drangarnir hike is still guided which I'd imagine would be a long slog with the time spent on better solo hikes elsewhere. Yes, on Mykines you do have to take the guided tour to see out towards the lighthouse but the guides were 2 very cool young ladies, they let you go on a short hike solo anyways afterwards, and you get to see the Puffins! And the hike that you can no longer take (landslide) didnt seem that long anyways so I dont think that should be a deal breaker. And an old native lady (Grandmother of one of the guides) will sell you some good home cooking. Mykines was awesome!! 2. Kalsoy, The Light House (Bond), the Seal Woman- I would highly recommend making this the nicest day of your journey simply because of the epic 360 views. Secret hike- You can hike to the top of the mountain above Bonds grave but it's not easy. This was easily a top 3 day of my entire life! 3. I went in May and was pleasantly surprised by all the baby animals which I hadnt thought about. 4. Saksun beach and then hike to Tjornuvik. You definitely need to make a day of this!! 5. The ferry tickets are no joke, get them in advance! Those are the major things I wanted to point out. All the other hikes, views, and villages were truly great as well, so if you decide to sacrifice one thing to spend more time in another, you should definitely do it. Its was all great! In my opinion I enjoyed my 5 days in the Faroes more than 8 in Iceland beacuse in the Faroes I was hiking 80% of the time and in Iceland I was driving for what felt like 80% of the time. Thanks again for the wonderful inspiring video on the Faroes and the best I have seen!
