The Power of Supporting Others: A Journey of Transformation
Sean, you find the best guests! Claudia is a delight and I appreciate her insight on leadership.
Being a high performer and knowing somr managers get very upset when real life occasions occur very inconsiderate writes them up quickly find every little thing to be mad about as soon as you miss a day. Unfortunately there is no remedy for high performers
That abundance mindset is what it is all about man! Congrats on closing the deal! So many more to come
Did this last week. These referrals you make build trust and relationships that last a long time. You didn’t close a bad deal today, but you might close ten good ones in the future.
Well said Sean! Your input is priceless.
I’ll bet he has a great company. Listen and you could learn
Shoot, I hate that your show suddenly shut off…..BUT, your friend is right, she is awesome! Fabulous information from both of you.
Fortunately, we wrapped up immediately after that last statement and only missed her contact information. It's also in the show notes, so hopefully people can still reach out to her from that.
Nobody wants someone that needs to be "handled" in business.
Very true... Yet it happens every day across the world.
Solid advice. Keep up the good work.
Appreciate that! We are all on a journey and hopefully the lessons I've learned over the years can help others out as well.
As someone who was a leader in her 20’s many years ago, you are spot on with your thoughts!
Interesting to hear things haven't changed!
I wish Paula had been there to encourage me in my youth!
Right?! She was such an incredible guest!
So very true.
Yep!
Very helpful and motivating. Thank you!
You can do it!
I have no intention of ever having a show, but this was cool information. You have come a long way Sean.
Thank you! :)
Variability with humans…..spot on!
Agreed. We are all over the place lol!
Appreciated this advice today 👍🏻
This topic is always a challenge! Glad to hear it helped!
i threw up when this guy lied and said "real and raw"
Do you think that lying during an interview process is better than being honest?
Agree, senior leaders sometimes drag their feet more than those below them. Ridiculous!
Agreed. It is wild to watch!
This is the beta approach. What would I do in this situation? I fire Jason. I fire John. I fire Chris and Jacob. I hire three more Sallies.
haha!
Sometimes the management is toxic more so than the lower hierarchy employees are toxic. Like having a point system or the management are toxic and want to tell you what to do but don't know your job.
I couldn't agree more! This creates extreme challenges for the employees on the team that actually are good leaders. Ultimately, those great employees end up leaving and the company is only left with mediocre and toxic employees.
This is my favorite video to date. To add to the health side subluxation chiropractic and oxygen hyberbaric treatments. Dr Crawford in Austin also has powerful infrared lasers with numerous frequencies.
Thanks man! Shawn was an incredible guest and made it easy for us to cover a wide range of topics!
It’s nice to just have it all. Makes life easy.
Life is what we make of it.
Lol i feel like this man gets conned a lot
What makes you think that?
Talk me through the differences between leveraging the stability of the Earth for money and not
That blue knife in your profile and on your website is sick!
This was very encouraging thanks guys!
Appreciate that Tyson! Big things can happen when the right people work together!
I used to be a water hauler. One job I had was with a small company, about a dozen drivers. They really had too much work for the drivers. When a flowback kicked off, we was stretched thin. It paid well, and I respected the boss and he respected me. So I would volunteer to camp out on flowbacks transferring fluids to frac tanks. I would pull 36-40hr shifts on them. The boss would call me a couple times to check on me and how the well was doing. If I needed a drink, food or if I ran out of cigarettes, he would buy them and drive out to me and even though I offered to pay him back, he wouldn't take it. If I needed a nap, I'd tell the flowhand and he would wake me after a certain amount of time. That job closed in 2015. I was the last driver to be let go because the boss respected me. I wish it stayed open. The next job, the boss showed his true colors when I caught lyme disease and it triggered rheumatoid arthritis. 9 months later, I was in a work related motor vehicle accident. I wasn't at fault but it permanently fucked up my lower back. The accident was in 2018 and after I was released, that boss spent 18 months to try to make me quit until he was able to legally lay me off in mid 2020. After that, my driving and oilfield days was done
Bullshit buddy
Why do you say that?
What don't you agree with in this clip?
Great guest Sean! Loved the conversation! I want to meet his wife.😉
Working on making that happen and having her on the show!
And I got to say it if Trump was president that pipeline will be open and we could have 50-cent gallon gas
Keep dreaming! It’s all about making money
@@xxjjgdrgnyeah, that's why Biden is taking bribes/lobbying money from foreign affairs like China, Russia and especially Ukraine..that's also the reason he and his son have 17 shell companies to better launder money etc huh... It's all about money that's why he and Nancy pelosi are insider trading etc
If you believe that I have a bridge in China to sell you
Not sure it would be that cheap, but I do believe it would be lower than it is today
Likely not that cheap, but cheaper for sure
i remember the parodie song: Yesterday, all my backups seems a waste of pay, oh yesterday....😅
hahaha! Too funny!
That’s beautiful Sean! I know you learned so much with that opportunity too!
I really did. All of the adversity over the years forged me into someone that I never imagined I could be!
Was pulled over here by the CZcams short to this video and it resonated with me. I'm a Zimbabwean Economics student, studying in Namibia and right now I feel lost. I am really frustrated and really don't know how I am going to make it but i am trying my best every single day. Watching this video made me realize that there are still things I need to do and need to be patient with myself. I need to know that things take time. Can't wait to dig into the other videos. If you have the resources, I would love to be mentored by you.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to check out the content! Check out my contact information in the show notes and let's talk!
No clue what the point was here
The full episode gets into the story of what it takes to achieve great things in life. Check it out!
Dow spoiled me because we have great leaders like Julie! It was amazing listening to you talk about continuous improvement with that passion! I Miss it!
I have to admit, I never imagined a company that large would be so intentional about building strong leaders! It's refreshing to see!
Dang Sean, hearing this side of your professional career path really paints a new picture for me!
It was a long road for sure!
Man a lot to unpack. Just know your content can change more than you will ever know. Grinding is key not a lot people grind and the ones that do don’t know how to efficiently. Maybe a video on grinding efficiency? Like always great video content. Appreciate it Sean.
Appreciate that Tyson! I love that idea and will work on creating a follow up video to this particular show on how to grind the "right" way.
Beautiful story Sean! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the part you played in all of it!
Awesome content I needed this today thanks. Sometimes the biggest opportunity for growth lies outside of your comfort zone. Don't be afraid to leave the shore to discover new oceans.
Hey Tyson! Yes sir, it can be challenging and frustrating, but the more we push, the more we grow!
Oh Sean, I really enjoyed this episode. Kristin is awesome with her beautiful energy and insight. So glad you guys reconnected for this show.
It was so much fun catching up with her!
My dad how?
?
just said a lot of nothing…
I dive deeper into this topic in the full episode.
I used to work with a few with ridiculous egos. Quite unpleasant!
Unfortunate and frustrating when it occurs!
❤ empty words ❤
Check out the full episode for more context!
This speaks to me EXACTLY. I worry about handing things off because of quality… But my team has learned so quickly. 😅
Yes! This is they way 👏🏻
Boom!
Unfortunatly it never had pure intents
We have to do our best to make the most of it!
"diversity" is a cancer. The most successful societies are the most homogeneous.
Groups that are united are the most powerful
Yeah lower the music, the rest is fine.
We keep striving to increase the quality of our content, so I truly appreciate the feedback!
NO MUSIC
Are you saying the clip would be better without music?
Fabulous information Sean. Enjoyed the episode.
Glad you enjoyed it
As someone who has worked heads-down in IT for 25 years and is venturing out as an entrepreneur for the first time, it was great to hear your journey. You're a very accomplished speaker.
I truly appreciate that! What sort of business are you focused on building?
