DO NOT put peel and stick tiles directly onto bare plywood NO MATTER how smooth it is!!! this is the worst advice - SERIOUSLY, TAKE this video down, for real. If you don't lay down a primer or sealant of some kind... the FIRST time water splashes out onto your floor, that tile will peel right ThA Fk up!! i know i sound like an a-hole, but i'm an OLD, experienced Ahole - DON'T listen to this guy! All you people complaining about the toggle bolt. Go buy a new one lol sorry but those things are designed to remain back there. If you do manage to get it out you’d have made a major hole in your drywall / plaster in the process. Don’t they have “smart toggle bolts” now where you can pull a string during the removal process? Sheessh

My “plywood” is 3/4 T&G. I can vacuum it. But it looks like the plywood behind you on the wall. Will they stick or do I need an underlayment?

The only other solution is to cut a square around the toggle, and patch the drywall. I guess no one would ever know if you dropped the toggle inside the while, but I'm not wired that way. It's not that hard to patch a relatively small hole in drywall, but it does take more time and effort.

If I'm using wood looking vinyl, should I start on the longest wall?

Man... was in the process of replacing my Old GE microwave with a Samsung where I thought I could reuse the old holes. Well, it worked but was too close to the top of the bottom of the cabinet... so I was hoping I could remove them... saw your video and have not had a good laugh. Was hoping to get the way to remove them but ended up just listening to you and will be going to the store and buying more in the morning.

How do I remove a toggle bolt that’s connected with a hook? I was hanging a hook on my ceiling for my plug-in light and I didn’t screw the toggle part high enough So you can see the screw in the ceiling hanging down
