If I remember right, the unspoken rule back when I was a kid for broadcast television was after 9:00 p.m. you could get away with a lot. Heck I remember seeing naked women on the Benny Hill show in the '70s. That was on just a regular broadcast television station.

**SPOILER COMMENT BELOW** • • • • • • I just saw this movie last night, and when Anxiety started going a mile a minute and Riley had her panic attack I absolutely LOVED how she used her five senses to calm herself down as all the emotions hugged her sense of self. My boyfriend didn’t even notice that because while he’s experienced anxiety, he’d never had a panic attack before and, euhhh, I’ve experienced multiple and have learned to use that coping mechanism from therapy (🥲). I loved that detail because Riley, at the ripe age of 13, IRL probably would’ve had a worse outcome since teenagers don’t usually know how to self-regulate to that extent. But showing it on the screen is such an important thing for adolescents who are in that age and can see and subconsciously store that knowledge to model in their own lives.
