I’m not orthodox, but I’m very interested in the faith, I’ve been attending an orthodox church on and off since December. My wife wants nothing to do with it. And that’s fine. Her and I are on the verge of divorce. She is a narcissist, and me, and our kids suffer the narcissistic abuse. And I am going to end up filing for divorce soon. She says she doesn’t want a divorce, but her actions and words say otherwise. I’m just curious to see if that’s biblical grounds for divorce. On my end, I guess you could say I committed infidelity with a pornography addiction I had for many years while being married. And our marriage a woman I used to know contacted me, and then ended up upsetting me inappropriate photos. I quickly made sure that person can never contact me again. So with all do I have grounds to divorce? Because I don’t think I could suffer under this abuse for the rest of my days.

Raised in conservative protestant church and family (calvinist or reformed church). Where sunday school literay like a school where yoy study bible from kindergaren elevel age to teenager level age, before started catchecism to become young adult in church. Besides sunday school we have mandatory religion class in our schools, so we also learned bible in schools, along with history of christianity from the time of Apostles, esrablishement of churcher in western world and eastern world. And I think you wrong on the part that we do not believe in resureectiin, that is why like protestant cross is always empty, that is how we believe that Christ has risen. Though I also can argue with lots of Protestant Churches teachings. I also refused Church tradition that are not found in the Bible. As just like Jesus rebuked the pharisees about their man-made traditions and theiir man-made laws, that is exactly what churches did. So now I do just follow Messianich teachings where they all rooted back to the teaching of Jesus and the apostles and examine carefully the life and traditions Jesus and the apostles lived in, the traditions they kept and so on. The traditions stated in the New Testament. Not what being established by all these three major denominations. Just follow Jesus and the Apostles and all the traditions they follow and all the law and commandnents they preached us to follow. And in any way you may hate it to say, all is Jewish traditions and laws, not catholic nor orthodox nor protestant laws and traditions. And all this debate about eucharist, it is last supper, a pessach supper in Jewish tradition that Jesus had with His disciplies. It is all about God's grace and salvation, we remember Jesus give his body as a Lamb of God to be sacrificed as an atonement sacrifice. It is that all about not about you eat the bread means eat Jesus body or drink the wine means you drink His blood because it is against the bible teaching, we do not eat flesh and blood of human as it is great sin. But as Jeus said whenever we take thar bread and drink that wine we remember Him. So well just read the bible, and study the way of the first churches in the time of disciples and apostles as stated in New Testament. That is why I reject Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and also protestantinism. There is only one God it is the God of Israel, and one Messiah the Jewish Messiah, and the first church were not catholoc nor orthodox churches but Jewish believers in Jesus. They then were outnumbered by the gentiles then wanted to divorced and detached itself from its Jewish roots by creating their own dogma and theology and tradutions that not all based on Scriptures but just man-made which if Jesus and His Apostles were here would definitely rebuke us just the same as they rebuke the pharisees and their man-made.law and traditions that they put higher than the Scriptures (Torah).

I was “baptized” on a whim when on Easter 2021 at a non denominational when I randomly decided I wanted to believe in Christ and I had to stumble my way through doctrines and faith. I didn’t expect that day to get baptized but I wanted to. When they told me the water wasn’t even Holy I knew something was off immediately. From that time I was always looking for home even though I was defending many Baptist doctrines and heresies. November that year I was aware of the Beauty of the Orthodox Church and Her liturgy and the two rosaries I had broke (they were ones designed for war specifically to not break, the pull chain ww1 ones) and they fell apart instantly. No more than a month and I ordered an Orthodoxy prayer rope from Etsy made in Ukraine and I love it. I was a pseudo Roman Catholic in some ways because I actually prayed an altered rosary and really just grabbing whatever I can for spirituality because non denominationalism just doesn’t have much. Then I found out the Jesus prayer with my 2nd pull chain rosary and I instantly liked it so much more. Finally once my prayer rope arrived with my giant octopus plush (that I named Augustine since it sounded like a good Christian philosopher name and I wasn’t aware of the actual Saint so much) I’ve had it since 2021 and I started to ignore it once the “repetitive prayer” thing Baptist have against for some reason I stopped But then Orthodoxy came back around to me October 22, and went to my first liturgy in that November. catechism for a bit over a year and now I was baptized and crismated into the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Orthodox Church last Sunday and it’s everything my soul has been yearning for. I feel like God has been guiding me here from the beginning.

Back in December, I had one of the worst panic attacks I've ever had. I prayed for away to get it under control as what I usually did for them did not work. When I eventually opened the YT app the first recommended video was How To Deal with Anxiety Like Marcus Aurelius. That was my first into to stoicism. It really helped me, regulate my emotions. At the end of May, there was an extreme family emergency, no amount of stoicism could settle me. Once again, openings the YT app, there was a recommended video about Orthodoxy. I went to my first Liturgy on Father's Day. I went again last Sunday. Im going again this Sunday. I truly believe God showed me these things, because He can do anything.

In Serbia for over 1000 years we have tradition to have House/Family Patron Saint, whose holiday is celebrated by the host welcoming guests, and that tradition is passed down from generation to generation, the most celebrated Family Patron Saint is Saint Nicolas, personally after our beloved Lord Jesus Chist and his Holy Mother i love the most Archangel Michael, he protected me in one dream from satan and other demons, since then i lovi him so much, also i love a lot St. Apostle John and of course St. Nicolas
