Well, this is a quick tribute to the best car on TV....
Gene Hunt's Audi Quattro.
This car is probably the most legendary car on the small screen this decade. I shed rather a few too many tears when this car died in Episode 8. It wasn't only the end of the Ashes era, but also of Gene Hunt's Quattro!
Just a quick mash-up of clips of the car, made on Windows Movie Maker. Clips and music are not mine. (Tainted Love by Soft Cell) -- Which is found many a'time in Ashes!!! Legendary song for a legendary car!

The Audi Sport Quattro was probably the most recognisable car of the Group B era of the WRC it was revolutionary as the car was the first WRC car to use 4 Wheel drive which since then except (1983) was won by a 4 wheel drive car

Sadly they didn't use 'Thriller' on the international release so the impact of this scene is lost somewhat in syndication...
i was gonna say, 'thriller' didn't come out until 1995
