I really was surprised at how much of a difference this smaller rudder made. I'm sure the larger Sniper rudder would make a bigger difference.

Yeah prices on everything is crazy right now, I really like that I don't have to carry the sticks climbing like this.

The aider I purchased has buckles on the end which allowed me to loop it around and buckle it on. I purchased the aider from a company called Hang Free. Aider held up good for one season so far.

Nice ! I had one buddy catch them pretty good during the eclipse, none on the frog though.

Had my first frog bite about 2 weeks ago, the fish came off though.

I love hunting out of the saddle, but I hated having to carry and set up the sticks. I have some back issues, carrying and climbing with just the platform is easier on my back than having to carry and set up the sticks. I still use sticks when I know I'm going to be hunting the same spot for multiple hunts.

I went out a few days later to a different location and was finally able to catch some fish to get a little confidence back, but it has been tough lately.

For me it is all about not having all the extra stuff to carry. I stay tied in but could slip and fall about 3 feet with the method I'm using. I also carry a linesmen's belt with me too, incase I have to go around branches. It I drop the platform, I can get down the tree with the tether and linesman belt also.

I tried the hitch climbing using the paracord loop, it was a little harder on my back than climbing with just the platform.

No problem. Hunting season never seems to come fast enough.

One transition and set platform one time at 20-25 feet or whatever needed. Can use the pole for walking stick, snake stick, pruning pole, as well as setting or removing rope.

My first year saddle hunting I used some helium sticks with the little platform mounted on top of the stick. Hated carrying them and the small platform was uncomfortable. Bought the EDP platform and decided to try and climb with just the platform and it worked really well. Packs small and fairly light.

That was a close one. I've had a few close calls but have never fallen out.

I built the trailer 2-3 years ago. Still the same old kayak.

​@HUNT-FISH-REPEAT love the build and the channel keep it up. Also on the truck do you use the bed to sleep in ? If so is it comfortable? And roomy ? I'm about 5,6. Thanks

@@odst7656 I have spent quite a few nights over the years sleeping back there, I'm 5'9" and it is fairly comfortable. I have a cot mattress that I sleep on. Has saved me some lodging costs. Than you for watching.

Yeah, They got a pretty good wing span on them too.

Yeah born and raised in South Louisiana, signs are at the sports complex in Houma. If you have water down here they gonna be a good chance there is snakes and gators.
