"Blue Flag beach", Ingoldmells, Lincs
A walk along the east coast, from Chapel St.Leonards to Ingoldmells near Skegness and Bibbys private beach - still being promoted as a "blue flag area", some 9 years since its last blue flag award in 2014.
Keep Britain Tidy, manages the Blue Flag in Britain on behalf of the Foundation for Environmental Education
It is only presented to well-managed beaches with excellent water quality, as defined in the EU Bathing Water Directive, and environmental education programmes.
Keep Britain Tidy has contacted the managers of this site on numerous occasions to request the removal of these signs promoting the area as a blue flag.
Unfortunately, Keep Britain Tidy has no legislative powers available to compel the owner to remove the signs, but has stated that it will continue to request that they do so.
The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) Head Offices are based in Copenhagen in Denmark.

*None of these agencies/organisations (except Keep Britain Tidy) have shown any desire to tackle or report on this issue.*
I understand that Ingoldmells Parish Council sold off this part of Ingoldmells beach a long time ago, which was bought by Bibby, who owns amusement arcades in the area.
Bibby has attempted more recently to sell the beach, I understand, but it appears still in his/her ownership.

Come On Saints! Southampton FC team coach arriving at SWFC Hillsborough Stadium 04/08/23

I'm a Saints fan, born and bred in Sheffield. I've loved Southampton Football Club, since I was around 10 years of age, in 1975 - just before Saints beat Manchester United in the 1976 FA Cup Final. I couldn't get into the game, as I had left it too late to buy a ticket and then they had all sold out. I decided to pop down to Hillsborough stadium to catch the team coach, as it arrived. I almost missed this Aegir, as I could not for the life of me find suitable access to the river due to bushes and over growth on the bankside. In the end I had to wade through nettles and triffid like plants to get a view of the river. Shame it was murky and misty, but the sound of the Aegir coming and not knowing where it was, was a thrill in itself. I was stood on the oppisite side of the riv...

It amazes me,here you have saints fans who have travelled up from Southampton, spent their hard earned cash on a ticket. Travelled around 4 hours up to Sheffield Wednesday and hardly any of those Southampton players who had travelled by plane and in luxury i might add acknowledged any of their own supporters. Over paid and arrogant some footballers actually are. They didn't even raise a wave or a thumbs up to anybody. It's not acceptable

Thing is I had a track on tape that one of them played, and i love it but have no idea who sang it or what it's called!!... all i have are some lyrics!!..its was a song that was played in the quiet storm, or music for a candlelit dinner sections, female vocal, very melodic. Not a powerhouse vocal, more say..roberta flack, minnie ripperton, syreeta, kind of vocal.. and the only lyrics i remember are the the 1st few lines of the 1st nverse which are.."Hello my love, wake up and start your day with me"... then theres a bridge part further along that goes, "..everything now is so much better, promise me that we'll saty together..foreveeer, forever"!..now I know its a long shot but i have searched for over 20 yrs for this track so if any anyone can help i will owe them my life!..thank you for reading.
