Gosh, Titanic is such a sh!tty stupid movie. Even when I was 16 I didn't buy it. A girl is going to have a handsome rich husband, who is willing to help her family and who will give her beautiful kids and a beautiful nice house. Their kids are gonna have everything they need in this life, best education and best opportunities. And she is like : oh, no, I don't want a family and a nice life. Instead of that I really wanna shаg a random hobo I've just met and I'm ready to become a hobo too. I don't mind experiencing severe poverty and hunger for the rest of my life. A love affair with a hobbo is totally worth the suffering for the rest of the life 👍 And everyone is : oh, what a nice love story, one of the best ever👌

We all need a friend like Molly. The older, experienced friend who's still young enough to hang out with you and be fun but older and wiser enough to show you the ropes and how to navigate certain situations. I absolutely love how she was having NONE of Ruth's elitist snobbery and wasn't afraid to show it. People don't talk about Molly in this movie enough; she's fantastic.

Cal's jealousy actually began here at Dinner. He and Ruth could tell that Rose was charmed by this young Good looking charismatic Boy. Who just saved her life and just spent the whole day talking to her. Cal is semi-aware of the fact that Rose doesn't even like him. From Cal's perspective this is embarrassing. Mr. Money bags can't impress his own fiance. But the gutter rat is rizzin her up without even talking directly to her. And you can see the look on Cal face when Rose starts whispering to Jack, how she predicts to him everything the snobs do next. And to save face he tries to take her back to their room. He chills out when Jack takes his leave not realizing Rose is about to go on a date.

It is not with 100% certainty one way or another that Mr. Murdoch had shot anyone but there was an officer who did. It could or could have not been Mr. Murdoch. I don't think anyone would view Mr. Murdoch as a bad person in this particular scenario so I don't think anyone did him dirty. You are witnessing what very well could have happened and I wouldn't judge him for it to be honest. That would have been a horrible moment of mass insanity and panic for anyone of any authority at that time.

Ive heard that Billy Zane was cast as the villain in Titanic based on his performance in Tales From the Crypt Demon Knight when he played the badass and cool villain the collector. He plays such good villains

In the smoking room, his lifejacket set on a table nearby and his eyes fixed on a painting of the Plymouth harbor. Before he went into shock, he helped numerous people onto life boats. What a good man and the actor is perfect for playing him.
