I am in 6th grade, this song is awesome it gives me the chills when I sing it with my class I don’t know how choir teachers find this good of songs 😉

My choir and I my last year of middle school sang this with all the choirs 6th-8th grade as a goodbye song for the 8th grade (me at the time in 8th grade) & it was such an emotional song to sing, everyone was crying including my teacher. I’m 21 now & I miss my middle school choir days so very much this brought me to tears!!

I was the bass while singing this song, it was the most difficult one to do for me out of the many songs we sang yet this one is still my favourite and i was very happy to have performed it

Any other basses/tenors who can’t really hear their part in this recording? I might just be weird, but I’m having a little trouble, which makes me sad, because I really like the bass/tenor part.

Just a few years ago my choir teacher picked this piece for the high school and middle school students to sing together, it was awesome. I am glad to be a soprano. 🎶

Wow I didn't realize this video is a decade old until I went to read the comments! I got so caught up in the music I felt like I was there! It really makes me want to sing together with the boys again. Let's hope the pandemic is under control soon.

I remember saving this song for middle school because I loved it.

The choir along with I and my graduating classmates sang this at high school graduation 10 years ago in 2010. Ten years since I graduated and it seems like ages since I was in school.

We sing this song every year and it means so much to me and everyone in my program especially my director. It's so sad we might not get to sing it together this year because of COVID-19😭😭😭😭❤

Pretty bad pronunciation, and they went sharp near the end lol. But still, excellent voices, if they could work on those 2 things they’d be amazing. Also it’s a bit fast for my taste but that’s just me. :p

I know this was posted 10 years ago but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! AHHHH! Me and another choir student are associate conductors, and we are helping my choir director teach the rest of the choir this song. In order for this to happen, I have to learn the piano part. I looked on JW Pepper, but they did not have the version that I was looking for. I started to panic, so as a last resort I went onto CZcams. I saw this and was skeptical, but as I listened I noticed that it was the exact same as the piece I had to learn! So now I can learn the piano part easily. Again, thank you! This helped a lot.
