My opinion, surfr is crap, it only is good with the phone mount on your board, if not it sucks totally! Ich was a beta tester back in the days and it was crap, right now I wanna give it another shot, but only with watch (mount my phone on the board is a no go for me) and I had a 14 Dias free trial, I cancelled it directly after the first trial! I was riding normally and only lower my arm and rising it I made 3.2 meters without a proper jump! My conclusion , if you wanna mount your phone on your board, for sure its really cool, otherwise its crap!

I am using Hoolan. Which is free also for Apple watch. Love the app. But awesome comparison!

Could you let me know how the Falcon board performance is in low wind? Currently I'm looking in to the Falcon 141 (weigh around 92KG/187) and would like to kite from 16 knots (Pivot 12 and 9) Will this board get me going upwind or is this more performance and overpowered orientated?

Great video! In the past I have used Woo for a long time, but I am looking to try Surfr and probably start with waterproof bag/phone. Can anyone recommend a waterproof bag that they have had success with?

Thanks for the tests, very interesting. I'm a beginner still and can only jump about ~4m high, so I can still roughly validate what surfr tells me while riding myself. And I've recently noticed inconsistencies, so after the session, I threw my phone into the air and listened. I also asked my kitebuddies at the beach, how high my throw was to reduce the guesstimation error a little bit and it was quite clear, surfr was completely wrong. For example I threw my phone ~3m high -> 6m jump, 6secs airtime...what? And then some tries around 5-6m high, one of which was estimated by surfr as 13.1m, which it quite clearly wasn't (would not throw my phone that high, even if I could). Maybe my phone (old Pixel 4) is damaged or something, but don't blindly trust even surfrs measurements. Still a good app that I like a lot though.

Nice video, Personally if I can share my technique I’ve been always standing at the pigtails side because I can see exactly how many millimetres are the difference and then I usually do a double knot technique on the connections to be able to get the perfect length. Seeing if there are hanging while holding the bar won’t give you that same precision . First measuring the front lines to see any difference between them then same things on the back line by putting the two connections knots at the bar next to each other. Then you can check the difference between back and front. But never stretch the line it will affect there strength on the long term.
