FREE Vowel Sound PDF Checklist (Master British Vowels):

In this British Accent English Pronunciation Tutorial...
You will discover how to master ANY English vowel sound in 60 seconds or LESS using just 2 simple British Accent Method Techniques...
I created these 2 techniques for clients in my English Pronunciation School to make English vowel sounds quick and easy to understand...
Here's why this is important...
If you're a non-native English speaker it's likely that your native language has different vowel sounds to English...
This means that many words in English can sound similar and be hard for you to pronounce clearly...
Can you clearly pronounce the following pairs of words?
- 'feet and 'fit'
- 'set' and 'sat'
- 'cot' and 'cut'
If you can't pronounce English vowel sounds clearly when you're speaking English...
Then it's likely that you'll get asked to repeat yourself when you speak English and lack confidence in your accent...
This can affect your professional career, your social life, and your sex life...
The 2 British Accent Method techniques you will discover in this video will enable you to immediately discover the correct mouth position for any English vowel sound, and how to tell the difference between vowels that should last for different lengths...
The 2 English vowel sound techniques are 'The 2 Second Rule' and 'The Finger Technique'...
The 2 Second Rule - This technique will show you how to quickly tell the difference between long and short vowel sounds in words such as 'feet' and 'fit'
If your language doesn't have long vowel sounds...
Then using The 2 Second Rule will enable you to feel how the length of long vowel sounds is different to the length of short vowel sounds...
This is CRITICAL for clear English pronunciation...
The Finger Technique - This technique will enable you to identify the correct mouth height for every English vowel sound so you can understand the difference between similar and confusing vowel sounds...
This is essential if you want to have confidence in your accent when speaking English...
Download my FREE PDF Vowel Sound Checklist that you can use to identify the specific challenges you're having with ANY vowel sound in English...
And then quickly overcome your difficulties so that you STOP feeling embarrassed when you speak English...

I think it's important that you state that this is not American English because those rules go out the window with the American English

  • @englishlessonswithsilviopa4139

Actually there are many ways how to pronounce the letter r and t in British English The rhotic dialects of British English include most of those in Scotland, Ireland and South West England Flapping T is found in many varieties of British English especially Cardiff and Ulster. In other dialects of British English, such Scottish English, some Northern England English (like Scouse), and older varieties of Received Pronunciation, the flap is a variant of /r/ Flapping of /t/ and /d/ is a prominent feature of North American English. Some linguists consider it obligatory for most American dialects to flap /t/ between a stressed and an unstressed vowel. Flapping of /t/ also occurs in Australian, New Zealand and (especially Northern) Irish English, and more infrequently or variably in South African English, Cockney, and Received Pronunciation.

I have a malocclusion (an overbite), and, interestingly, I've found that I need fewer fingers to reproduce these sounds. For instance, when I make the /e/ sound as in ‘set,’ it sounds accurate, but I can only fit one finger between my teeth, not the 1.5 as your guide suggests. This is true for all vowels - I typically need 0.5 finger less than what’s recommended. Could malocclusion be affecting the number of fingers one should be able to fit?

lots of mystery.. i am japanese but (in despite english is not my primary language) i always speak as a nonrothic english.. for some obscure and paranormal reasons, i have tried a lot to be a "rothic" girl (usa, canada kind) but nothing work )' : so i had to continued in the nonrothic way "(^ . ^)"... floor (fleow), truck (twock), curtain (keuten), trailer (tewele), warning (woening).. my R are generally replaced by "W"... and in some cases, for example "piece of paper near that person", it may sounding like "pace ea pape nee that peson" etc... some people say that "kind of sound" is sexi on girl but i do not know what to say since i only know that accent "(¬ . ¬)"... to show the complexity of R, in japanese, it is well known that R are replaced by L letter (aligatou) but in some places, R are R sound (arigatou) but in other places, R are replaced by N sound (i use N, i speak fastly) so anigatou gozaimashita... so yes, R lette is a lots of "mystewee" for everybody "(^ . ^)" 💕
