Well i will say this about the smartdrive even though i don't have mine yet. It is a great invention though!!

I am supposed to be getting one pretty soon. The smartdrive (what ever the model) only has one shot with me. If it works, Fantastic, If it doesn't i won't be getting another one. I won't be wasting my resources on a device that keeps breaking down or won't help me get around.

I have a question for you guys. Longevity of the product and repairs? How long does it tend to last ? Does it need repairs often? How many years can I expect to get out of one

Used, they go for $500... But not that quickly. Seems they are deliberately difficult to service... You need specialized sockets just for the battery swap. 7 years later, seems it bombed.

I think this band has been the best for me, but now my mx2 is old, and the battery will no longer accept a charge. I was talked into buying a new mx2+. Unfortunately, it only comes with a speed dial because they discontinued the push trackers and watches. I want to use my old wristband from my mx2 on my new mx2+. Hopefully, it's possible.

I just had an appointment at my wheelchair clinic to get a new wheelchair on Tuesday. This will be my first chair with smart drive. I was told that I’ll have it by March or April! I can’t wait to travel on Trails with it.

I HATE the MX2+! I am a small woman, the wrist watch didn't fit. I couldn't control it. The "switch" option was just as dumb. It is too heavy for someone with muscle atrophy. It didn't do anything but cost too much. I never needed a smart watch. I loved the original smartdrive. This one is horrible.
