Ryan Newman actually made the playoffs in 2019, but was eliminated in the first round. He finished 15th in points earning 3 top 5’s, 14 top 10s, and an average finish of 14.6.

All three Penske drivers are in the playoffs: Ryan has 2 wins so far (Iowa and Pocono). Joey has 1 win so far (Nashville). Austin has 1 win so far (Gateway).

Although I am late to the party with this video, I am very thankful that you mentioned Adam Petty, I feel like his career, though short, doesn't get as much attention as it should. Everybody forgets that it wasn't just Earnhardt's death that caused NASCAR to change the safety inside the cars. (though one of the main reasons)

What's more impressive is that since the 1960s they won a race every decade they raced. That Bristol win was their only 2000s win. Now thanks to Burton you can add the 2020 decade.

Now we see if Josh Berry can get a win next year after Harrison Burton finally pulled through with the team's 100th win.

i came back here to see if thee MOST POPULAR DRIVER to EVER pilot the O4 would even be mentioned….HB BAILEY of all people. Known, of course, for driving the #86 in both NASCAR AND USAC for DECADES…H.B. would have his BEST FINISHES EVER in NASCAR at Darlington, where he was alot closer to acually WINNING THE SOUTHERN 500 or at least getting a TOP 3 than anyone realizes in a race where NED JARRETT CRAWLED ACROSS the finish line a winner while BUDDY AND BUCK BAKER also baaaaarely finished the race….coasting home 2nd, FOURTEEN LAPS BEHIND. Third place went to DAREL DIERINGER, who was OUT OF THE RACE with ROY MAYNE FORTH, 15 laps behind then BUDDY ARRINGTON in FIFTH, SIXTEEN laps behind then HB in the #04 in SIXTH, not far behind Arrington, who brought his ride home smoking badly. If the race was TEN laps longer OR JARRETT DIDNT MAKE IT…his team had been debating parking the car for over 100 miles…oh man. Bailey also crossed the line EIGHTH later that season at the National 500 in Charlotte and was the top independent in that race. Wood Brothers finally won their 100th Cup win, thanks to Harrison Burton also his first career Cup win at Daytona.

If this series ever comes back, we need one on branches of the military, plus the National Guard, which I guess isn't its own branch, but I'm 99% sure they have all the other military sponsors beat in the win tally. Definitely include Busch series and trucks for this one, because half of them I don't think were ever represented in cup for more than like a one-off at the 600 or smth. Don't forget about Jeff Gordon's defense-related schemes, either.
