Me and Lee went to Barnetby for a few hours to film freight trains. Plenty of action this visit with loads of class 66s and class 70s. We got a mixture of tank, biomass, and steel trains. Barnetby can be very hit and miss at times. Please leave a like if you can.

Train spotting at Doncaster station 8/8/2024 Today was one of the best days spotting I have had at Doncaster. I got lucky seeing 44871 steam train and 47815 passed twice. A couple of nice livery class 800s. 66779 evening star. And many other operators running today from GBRF DB Cargo to Freightliner. 69001 also made and appearance today too. What a day.

Santon is the iron ore works on Scunthorpe steel works. I think FOT stands for Foreign Ore Terminal.

I'm aware of passenger services (few and far between) from Gainsborough and Brigg but is there any freight using that line ?
I am not sure unless Keadby bridge gets closed they run around your way

180 but the plates are covered in grime so its rare to get the numbers

Love the torpodoe wagons. Used to drive the hot metal trains at the River Don Works Sheffield in the late 1970's. Visited Scunthorpe Works during that period too.
It’s like a film set in some areas. Did you enjoy your time working there back in the 70s. Shefield I think produced stainless steel.
