This was a quick fix because of previous experience, when ever I have an unusual paracitic draw or power down faults with various makes and models this is the 1st place I look without using wiring diagrams or any other checks so this is how fast I could locate the issue. Hope this video helps and thank you for watching

Dang you’re committed. I’d yanked that OEM garbage and replaced it with a nice aftermarket unit before going thru all that trouble 😖
Appreciate this video, saved a lot of hassle
How do I get sound on it?
Would be useful to know the torque values. Seems hard to find concrete numbers in Google
Hi Good video, curious to know weither there was any copper washers under the injectors
@user-zn4fm2zd6t yes I put new washers on
@@kieferste Thank you for your reply
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good job friend.
Great work, you did it 20 mins. I'm sure it'll take me atleast 1 hr to do this and few bolts will be broken or stripped in middle 😭
Good detailed work mate
Best way as had the same problem but all fuses were perfect get earth wire to frame and on the bolt off the wipers will work
Ive got a 2010 mini radio stoped working fuses are all good any ideas what it coud be pls
I am having the same fault unfortunately, can I ask what the cost of this was for your client?
Where are you from
Thanks for doing this video. I had the same fault and fixed it from this video👍👏
Could you please reply to my emails I've sent you I need mine repairing thanks
Ive emailed you a couple of times could you please reply thanks
Oh mate so sorry I'll get to it
I’m having issues with my central locking, I have a Citroen Berlingo 2014 Multispace Diesel, I think my fuses are in the wrong places. I’m getting different info from online to my manual, I have like 3 F15 fuses in a row. Does anyone have this model and could show me all the fuses and where they should be in the passenger side fuse box. Please.
Hi. Did you turn off the battery when you removed the airbag?
Yes I did
Hats off to you. Those shoe retaining clips took us ages to get in. You just used your fingers!
I’ve got P0015 & rough when cold idle & erratic / lumpy when warm. The Cam position sensors are on the top right of the engine; one inlet & one outlet, both the same part; I moved front to back & P0015 code remains meaning sensors are ok. I’ve since been read it can be the exhaust Vanos solenoid sticking causing the timing to read out of tolerance, the one front left under the oil filler is the exhaust solenoid, I’m going to investigate that. There is also the inlet vanos solenoid back left under air intake pipe; bit more tricky! Failing that, the chain & tensioners could be whacked! I’ve also got Catalyst & oxygen sensor fails on live emissions data, but that could be my software scan tool not reading right. Good luck & try post back your results 👍🏼
Have you checked the timing
@@kieferste I cleaned and swapped the intake & exhaust Vanos camshaft control valve solenoids and the code followed the solenoid as P0012. So I got a replacement one and now all ok
@@unclepabsgood job 👍
@@kieferste My garage man ran the Vanos adaptions then read the timing degrees afterwards and it was spot on
Hi! Where about uk are you based? Unfortunately I have the same issue
I'm from county Durham area
Would you fix mine if I pay you
Send me a message stevo188204@outlook.com let me know when you sent it
I've sent you a email
@GeoffHardy-dw5tq OK mate ill check later just busy at the min
Thanks, helps me 👍
Cheers for this, I went to start mine yesterday and it just faintly click like yours, 12v at the battery so I'm thinking a similar job.
Hi, I have a 2011 A1 with the same issue except the horn still works. Would be able to repair this for me if I send it to you? Cheers. Danny
Hey mate, my fan clutch doesn't engage when sensors are in but works fine if they are unplugged (cant run like this though as get injector light.). I've ran 12v to the fan clutch and it works without issue but installing new sensors and also with the old sensors they seem to keep the fan clutch disengage so I Don't get cooling. Any idea on how I can fix this properly? I'm considering just to wire it to 12v supply so it always stays on as I live in Australia and use aircon 24/7 so fan by default should always run in my situation.
What year is yours I quess you've ran it up too temp them wiring diagrams are a pain to read I'll have alook for you just need the model and year 😉
@@kieferste mines a 2005 35S13V which has the 8140.43S engine in it. its a RHD vehicle. I'm able to bridge the relay (25336) which then powers the clutch to engage, both temp sensor and temp switch have been replace and its made no difference so I'm assuming either wire 0000 or wire 7740 which connect to 86/85 in the relay are faulty. Manually triggering the relay with a pin allows to clutch to work I just cant seem to get it to trigger itself automatically. As a temp fix im considering just wiring it to the radio fuse to supply constant power when vehicle is on.
@boen747 so we know wiring to the fan is good from the relay 0000 is a ground wire so we need to know if its ground side switched or power side then we need to know where it comes from I'll have alook at a diagram. Can you find out on pins 86 and 85 what's missing is it the ground or power
Hi I have a nissan micra k12. my boot won't open outside. But inside I does just by disconnected cable and reconnect and it opens it. Does this mean I need a new lock part with it not being electrical fault?
Sorry for the late reply I've recently moved and there's no Internet or signal where I live so all sorted do you still need help?
Hi yes thanks. My boot does not open unless i go through the back. I refitted a new battery and all is well apart from the boot not opening
Thanks a lot. Same issue here, battery slowly draining and self opening rear lock. This confirms exactly what I was suspecting.. Switch activate itself, most probably for inner humidity / environmental contamination (the switch should be sealed but clearly not well enough). Thank you for sharing this. All the best 😊
Man I wish you would have found out exactly where that break was … I’m at exactly the same conclusion with my wife’s 2014 Paceman, after I too, bypassed the relays, and verified that the motor still worked on high and low speeds … My grounds are also shown as X4010 (pin 31) and X4013 (pin 40). Now I just need to verify which (if not both) of those grounds isn’t making an appearance at the 2 relays … Thanks for this video … it’s helped me in so many ways .z So glad I stumbled on this video … it’s given me the confidence now to look just a little bit further… I was considering handing off my discoveries to date - to a mechanic to complete …
That's not a problem thank you for watching my vids I know how you feel I wanted to find the brake too but unfortunately you do what the customer wants, if you've gone this far just keep going test and eliminate until you find your issue if I can help I will 👌
Yassssss!! My radio stopped working weeks ago but couldn't figure out why. Tried what you did and BAM fixed!! Thanks bunches mate
Would you do my diff.
Sorry for the late reply unfortunately I've moved so my tools are still in storage so I'm unable to take on any work like that at the moment hope you get sorted 👍
Not very useful you only did fifty percent of the car. I need a video on the rear
Could you just pull the fuse and live without the siren?
Do you fix these? You sound local to me mate and I’m having some issues!!!
Yes where are you from

Hello, I have a question if you are kind, I have a volvo xc 90 2.4 d awd 185 cv geartonic from 2007 and it has a problem with the bearings in the rear differential and I don't know where to find them and what reference they have, please advise how I can fix it and if you know what is needed and where to buy, thank you very much, I live in France
.Since I have problems when the car is running cold, it shakes and spins a little before starting the car, I remove the cable from the vvt solenoid on the exhaust side. I start the car normally without knocking and jumping and I can drive it normally, albeit with a little less power. into second gear. I only have p0013 from the error, this is the vvt solenoid switch. Does the ventiltronic work then or is connected to the vvt system so that I can turn it off if the vvt system is not working. To simplify, does the valvetronic remain working if the vvt solenoids are turned off? Thanks in advance.
Have you tried cleaning the solenoids
What year is your xc90?
It was a 2004
5:34 - the control arm will STAY out of the way if you loosen its rear bolt. This also helps when it comes time to put the bolt through the new bushing, by providing a bit of play in the setup.
Dude, you just saved my life. Dragged the relay out split it apart and cleaned the contacts. Now working. Will order another but going for now. Thanks.
Changed relay, changed resistor, changed bsi unit, still no fans...any advice?
Do you have power going to the relay and ground
