Cannonborg's reaction to the ISA revealing his location is very telling, and did raise questions. I will say this about Team Rocket, it is interesting to see a villain team having a mind of their own and not agree with the methods of the higher ups.

Dino Thunder was my entry series. I was on a dinosaur marathon back in the early 10's. I cannot get over how cool that intro theme is!

This was another solid episode, and a great arc conclusion. Everything from the Sakito's fight against Cannonborg, the ticking clock element with Jackie Hoihoi(Cannonborg's weapon), the OST, The Hashillian trio bailing on Cannonborg, was just great. Admittibly Cannonborg was more of an essentric villain than Madrex, but I'd compare him more to Ritchhiker(General Havock) than Wiserue(Slyther). Overal, let's just hope that Lap 3 keeps the momentum going.

This episode was great but man this lap was not doing it for me, I just wish there was more cohesion between episodes, like a rivalry between Violet and cannonborg would have raised this episode more for me, it also would have been a great parallel to Reds and Madrexs rivalry from lap 1

I agree that this was a better episode than lately, but they dropped the ball with the buildup. I think they were going for the parallel that Cannonborg is a loner and Sakito was before he joined the BoonBoomger; concluded with Sakito using the 119 blaster. But the buildup to get to that parallel wasn't done well imo. But I do like the final Mecha finish. I thought that was cool

I think this teamup isn't as bad as other people say. I think maybe it's because I watched it a lot as a kid on the dvd that also included white light, countdown to destruction, to the tenth power, and forever red. It's probably nostalgia but I still love it regardless

I actually hold this higher in my list because it had a horse in it and I love horse. Scott was also able to bring more out of Jayden he didnt feel as perfect. I always considered this rpm timeline to be a timeline where they lost

And I had no idea they were dividing this series into arcs because the series hasn't changed at all since it started and I feel like if I just watch key episodes of this series and skip everything else I won't be missing anything. I just want it to end and the next Sentai to come but if it has the same structure as Boonboomger it will be complicated.

The jacket is going to be the power up, isn't it? Hope they all get a cool team power up and the jacket on the poster serves another role, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Though it does make sense with the aesthetics of this show for the jacket to be a power up. We'll see. Boonboomger has been a great show for me and I'm excited to see Toq1 again. I wonder if they'll get Raito's actor or maybe they can get kid Raito all grown up and play an alternate take or a future relative.

Lap 3, seems pretty interesting. Given that MadRex is back along side Disrace(The new general) I wonder how things will pick up with this new arc. As for Orange being in the center; I wonder what this means. Will we have a repeat of the Dark Naga arc of Kyuranger? Is this an imposter? Is Genba going to play double agent for the villains? I'm on the edge of my seat here!(Also, Right's back too I guess, I don't really have much to say about that, I have a feeling that it's just going to be like the Go-onger episode.)

Honestly, most of this video was talking about the idea of a general PR/SS anime, and not about the actual Red Ranger Isekai anime coming. Yeah, you have Ranger/Sentai tropes with Kizuna Red, but you have to consider how an isekai story will use those tropes, and that sort of narrative material. But also how tropes and narrative tools in isekai and fantasy genres can interact with someone like Kizuna Red.

Not sure if this related to it topically, but I do feel it's warranted to mention given it's also a big controversy in the tokusatsu sphere. However this is primarily with the Godzilla fandom. Ever since Minus One came out you've had youtube essayists who talk about various topics talk about Godzilla due to the success of Minus One. And the big controversy about them is that a lot of them get things about the Godzilla franchise factually wrong. Like this isn't even a thing about personal opinions on the franchise, this is literally them not doing the basic research. Like saying Minus One brought Godzilla back to his routes and everything inbetween it and the original 1954 film was all childish and kiddy. Which is 100% factually wrong. Yes the Showa era did become more child friendly, but they completely ignored the Heisei and Millennium era of films where Godzilla was much more serious and still kept him to his routes like GMK. Hell the last big Japanese Godzilla film was Shin Godzilla. That was a return to form too but all these essayists didn't do their damn research to know that. The biggest example for this was the youtuber Dr Skipper who's video is widely mocked not just by the Godzilla fandom but even casual fans and his own fans as well for how poorly researched the video was. And recently we had Lockstin, a pokemon youtuber get facts about the Godzilla franchise wrong in his video about the pokemon Baxcalibur (who's based on Godzilla). I only bring this up because it reminded me of the twitter drama with the Sentai and PR community. But the difference here is that this isn't Godzilla fans being toxic. They have genuine reasons to be upset about this because its been constantly happening and people misrepresenting the franchise with factually wrong information. Even normal people aren't liking it. I also wanted to mention this too which ties back into how people see tokusatsu as cheap and fake and how that's seen as controversial. Something the Godzilla franchise has faced too. I know you've said people are right to think that but no they aren't. Primarily because it's a very misguided critique as the people who say that don't know how expensive tokusatsu is. It's just a form of film making that has had a warped perception in the western word. CZcamsr Firewood Media made a great video discussing this topic. And how he believed because of people were first exposed to Godzilla via the more kid friend showa era films, that left a poor taste in many people's mouth about tokusatsu productions. Also something I would like to add. Even though Power Rangers isn't as expensive as a hollywood film, it always made up for it with its action scenes being very high quality. Typically on the same level if not higher than what you would see in typical martial arts action films.
