Hi everyone in this video I’ll do a small review of the Roland trigger rt30. This trigger is an economic way to convert toms and bass drums, instead I recommend to use an internal trigger for the snare to achieve a better sound sensitivity. if you liked the video, please like, subscribe to the channel and follow me on instagram! if you want to help me to let the channel grow this is my btc addr...

Hi everyone in this video I’ll do a small review of the roland kt9. I personally love it and recommend it to everyone! if you liked the video, please like, subscribe to the channel and follow me on instagram! if you want to help me to let the channel grow this is ...
Awesome! I also prefer your real voice by the way.
Appreciate the video, but you picked the most insufferable music I’ve ever heard.
Yea no thanks lol
Excellent vídeo! I have the roland TD-4KP would work with This module ?
Great idea, the reason why? Many Roland OEM harnesses are limited in length, making placement of the toms difficult. With this mod, one could incorporate longer tom and cymbal cables, making placement in proper position far easier. Further, if you use your drum module on multiple kits, it saves wear and tear on the multi pin module plug.
Your real sounds cool. You should use it instead!
Great video, i have a second hands td17 with a broken cable for hihat controller. Will fix it this way.
What is the support that you use to the module??
Roland APC-33
Why wreck the OEM harness and end up with a bulky bundle of plugs & sockets hanging out of the back of the module, when instead you could just buy a D type connector and solder whatever cables you like to it?
Do you know of this will work with a td50?
yes I think so
good idea. I actually have an extra roland snake I may do this to
Ciao, gran bel video, complimenti. Potresti dirmi che tipo di connettori consigli? Le femmine jack devono avere qualche requisito particolare?
ciao grazie, l'importante è che i connettori jack siano stereo e non mono.
I don't see the difference from what he started with, all he did was put plugins on the cables. Just plug in what you need and let the rest hang, that's all he did after all that work.
Thank you
Would this work on td-07 to convert the ts mono cables to trs stereo cables to be able to get more pads hooked up to kit?
yes it should work but on the td-7 you can't split the sounds
Hi I need this and don’t have these skills. Can I hire you?
How to stop double triggering? It is happening with mine
in the settings try to increase: "RETRIG CANCEL", it should work.
Increase your threshold in the settings tab! Worked instantly for me
Well Done !
where can i buy these connectors?
Great idea for a portable simple kit!!
is it possible to rest your foot on it, is there any resistance like with a real kick pedal, so you can lightly rest your foot on it without having to full heel back technique?
Estamos no Brasil. Não sou americano
After I had to tear apart my Alesis Multipad apart to fix a corrupted sd card, I bought this to repace it in my live rig. So simple compared to the SX PRO. I never ever want to have to open it, but really enjoyed watching you take it apart. Get it back together correctly, lol? OMG, I'd have nightmares of forgetting one of those connections then... pad mute groups would have a glitch or where did all the sounds go? Whoa, how do I have 1 screw left? If its anything like my octapad, 12 years, 7 bands and 200 videos later, still no problems!!
This channel is amazing
I want to change my module to TD-27 but the multicord looks different from td-17 with its snare and ride cables ending in some other jack. So, can you please answer me, do you know, If you can use the multicord from td-17 with td-27? Because I have a ordinardy snare drum with a 6.3 mm jack and I want to use it from the multicord, not from AUX cable. It looks like to me they are the same size, so if anybody know, please help! Thank you
hi, yes it's compatible. The td-27 has a double connection option for snare and ride, USB or regular 6.3 mm jack. www.thomann.de/it/roland_td_9_td_11_td_15_multicore.htm
simple yet effective and putting module on the snare!!
this is why its so damn expensive. can you imagine all the engineering for the spd?
yes a lot of engineering but a little bit too expensive and I don't like seeing piezo sensor inside, maybe roland could have developed a new/better technology, anyway it's a great machine!
I have got mine for two weeks, nice to see it has $1 dollar piezos after what I have payed for the unit😂
🤣me too
why you not show the mainboard's downside😊
This is great! I’ve never seen a teardown of the SPDSX Pro. Reminds me of the internals of a laptop.
Take the srpings off first before applying force, to under tension screws. You are asking for trouble by doing that.
Why is TD-9 also in your description?
Why shouldn't it?
roland td-9 use the same cables connector
I added two more rack toms, 2nd hat, and soon will connect some other gear on it. Do you think the Octapad would play alright through this, since it has the 8 pads with individual voices or would I have trade out the auxilary input for the one rack tom? I love the ability to expand on my TD-9 and the voices are sonically equal. I tuned each additional to have low to high pitch...I always like eKits, but now....with all the drum sets and effects and abilities at my finger tips...I love my eKit and love the TMC6. Can't believe that I found one in great shape...it's never going to leave my studio as long as sticks are in my hands. Thanks for posting this.
Hi, if with the octapad you can split the 4 inputs trigger in 8 is the perfect solution. The octapad is a great great machine with a big limitation in the software that don't allow you to import external sounds, but through midi is perfect for drum's plugins.
Very nice! That is a great way to have more control of cable management, and a good easy way to be able to repair any faulty cables. Very nice!
Thanks for this video. I also own a Roland TMC-6 and the BT-1. What are your settings on the TMC-6 because when I have the BT-1 on the snare drum I always have unwanted triggers coming from the snare. I tried several settings but I can't get a good configuration with the elements that do not trigger between them... thank you.
Hi, try these settings: - Sensitivity = 8 - Threshold = 2 - ScanTime = 1.5 - Retrig Cancel = 2 - Xtalk Cancel = 70
Hi there. I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger. Thanks for your help.
Hi, I can't understand the problem, he is using a trigger like ROLAND RT-30HR Head and Rim Trigger right and he is using side stick and rim shot sounds? It could be a settings problem and he has to adjust parameters like "threshold", "sensitivity" and "xtalk cancel".
@@edrumnow Thanks for your response. Please consider that a centre hit and side stick are distinctively different and the drum module understands that and responds well. The problem is the module understanding the 3rd element which is the rim shot. Basically the module cannot differentiate the centre hit and the rim shot as a drummer would strike with the acoustic snare.
@@calvingudu9237 ok if I'm correct when the drummer plays the rim, the module can't understand when to play rimshot sound or sidestick sound. On the module, on trigger settings page try to: - increase not too mach "sensitivity" - decrease "threshold" - decrease "xtalk cancel" - decrease "retrig cancel" this could help.
How much price
Smart
Are those built-in samples? They sound great.
hi, yes it’s Roland TD25’s built-ins samples😉
This is amazing please make more videos!!
Perfect! You are the man! Thanks
I admire your restraint in not using all of your inputs. :)
dude.. i came here to see if i could add more inputs xD
Excelent idea!!! Roland should build them separated like those
OR an optional harness to patchbay type thing,
you forgot to crimp the wire :(
yeah I know, I did it later but not on camera…
Does anyone know if the KT-9 will work on Alesis CompactKit 7?
hi, yes it could work but my advice is to avoid mixing parts of different brands.
A custom snare with 3 triggers ? What is the engineering behind ???
I'll post a video soon ;)
Gud
which is the best kt 10 or kt 9
both are great but the kt10 has better fill and sensitivity. If you are a pro drummer the kt10 is better but louder.
@@edrumnow kt 10 price in USA
Can this be used to expand a TD-25KV?
unfortunately not, I own the td25 too and it has only the midi output connector, the one you need is the midi input connector.
@@edrumnow ok. thanks
Grazia amico, your a star and I love what your doing, keep up the great work
