I agree Jake. I have the same car. It has cost a lot in repairs. And BMW service is horrible and blames the owner for the problems and at every turn they overcharge! Today I was told that it would cost twice what it is worth to fix the car, so I put 7k into trying to fix it, and essentially having to scrap the car to auction or to donate it. I get to chalk this up to my one and only time I will ever own a BMW - I loved driving it, but it isn't worth the maintenance costs!!!

The only one I’ve had of these with mine is the headlight issue and mine only has one light that gets water in it. I ended up putting one of those silica gel packets in it, and that seemed to have worked and keep it dried from here on out.

I assume that exhaust setup is pretty rowdy on cold start right? I mean with it being the borla atak.

those plastic door trims? I actually ordered replacements from Temu, and replaced it myself. The Trim set, I think was around $30. hey, if it works for next couple years, why not? 😄

If you buy used you’re going to have to figure out how to fix stuff yourself, or pay 💰, people abuse these cars and can’t afford to do the maintenance…

I have the 13 Camaro 2SS LS3 6speed in black/black. Muffler delete, Cold Air kit. X pipe and 2 1/2" to the bumper. I love this car! What an awesome driving car.

Sounds like stuck calipers on the brakes. And these engines sound like they do its not a defect. Just replaced some rotting planstics on my 2015 535i, easy. Gotta agree with other people that motor mount went too long unchanged. Also the cats on these are very restrictive. HiFlo cat opens it up and reduces running temp. Fwiw i agree GM rock. But as a lifelong GM owner no Big3 can touch the class a BMW provides. Totally differenrt universe but stay away if you lack shadetree skills.

I have had my 2013 BMW 528 I since I bought it 2016. I have had to replace the turbo, and brakes, of course. I am at 106000 miles. It needs brakes and motor mounts if I want to stop the vibrating. It needs a valve cover. It needs an oil filter seal and the gasket. Inside. Everything works and is in wonderful condition, from the leather to the plastic to the sunroof. This guy must have had a lemon!

Also I meant to mention that, I just bought one of these yesterday, Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from a second hand dealership in Alpharetta, Georgia. The name of the dealership was called Avalon Auto. Our purchase was pleasant, our sales guy’s name was Frank. He treated us very professionally and he was very nice and pleasant, no pressure whatsoever! He laid out the car fax to the BMW 535i and didn’t hide anything. We purchased my wife’s BMW with a 36 month warranty, full comprehensive and the top tier, which covered most of the major things like tranny, air conditioner, motor, suspension…etc. The car is a beautiful exterior midnight blue, the interior is a chocolate leather/black and matte gray finished trim. With the steering wheel being wrapped in black leather and seats are Napa leather chocolate coca brown. Very nice inside and out. 104k miles on it and they had already done some previous work that you mentioned in your video, so I guess we got it after some of that work was done by the previous owner under the original warranty. We will keep our eyes and ears open for anything to come. Thanks again! 👍🏾

I bought a used 2016 with 56k miles. The car drives great, has good acceleration, AC is fine. I have no complaints. This model also gets great gas mileage.

If you get a bmw make sure it has the inline 6 cylinder. The four cylinder turbo is just not a good engine.

I had a 2015 2SS Camaro my parents rented for my senior prom. I hated when I had to give it back. I fell for the ss camaro ever since. I am currently looking for a 5th gen. Personally I grew up around my dad having mustangs but, now he's the one who convinced me to get a 5th gen. Love the video bro.

Your Camaro gauges are just like the 1969Z 28 gauges was a consult. The car looks like it’s 69 and away but the gauges interior looks a lot there the seats are uncomfortable and 69 but that gauges in the consul looks just like the 69 and the dashboard.

i've got many of the same issues. Motor mounts, oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, seat belt sensor error,..... 🤮

When you buy luxury cars like this make sure buy new and when warranty almost run out trade in another new luxury. Personally for me this are not car just a show off item, you dont see much mechanic drives Mercedes or Bmw or tesla , even them dont wanna deal with it😂

Newsflash nothing is cheap or fun to fix on these over technical engines.

U get a lot of those problems with undersized engines. A 5 series should have a v6 or bigger
