Healthcare in Germany? At first try to find a family doctor, in some cases it may take you more than a year. But this is not the worst thing, because the worst thing is to make an appointment after all which may take you months. About punctuality. Germans are quite unpunctual, as is their public transport. I hope the reason behind this is their public transport... Germans are quite unfriendly, but I can't say that this applies to Berlin as well.

Ludwigshafen. Ludwigshafen got crowned as the ugliest city in Germany (by the satirical TV show extra3). I have actually been there on a beautiful spring morning and thought "This places sucks!" So yes, as a German, I think it deserves its spot among the ugliest cities. Shout out to everyone in Gießen, Saarbrücken, Wuppertal, Neumünster and Siegen. My condolences!

In my opinion these are the cons of living in France that you missed: -Low wages and high taxes. Also relatively high cost of living in Paris and the southern coast. -School system and early career are tough and not for everyone. -Very long wait times in healthcare. Especially if you need surgery. -Very small apartments in big cities, particularly Paris. -Very impractical home layouts, particularly with separate toilet and washroom. Takes a long time to clean. -Racism, particularly by second generation immigrants. -Relatively dirty compared to the rest of Western Europe, at least outside tourist-y areas. -Utterly dysfunctional politics. Macron isn't in office because he was any good. He's in office because he ran against lunatics.

My take on cakes in Germany and Austria was quite the opposite - the selection is fairly small, especially in fresh (unfrozen) department and prices outrageously high.

those parrors are Rotbandsittiche and they have become a pretty frequently sieht around Cologne ans other parts of the country. They like to fly in larger droves which can be pretty annoying because of all the noise they are making.

I don't get mainland Europeans obsession with trains. As a brit you could make petrol £3 a ltr and public transport free. I would still drive anywhere i cant walk in 10 minutes. Its like don't you like being comfort or privacy.
