Salah satu cerita paling menarik daripada Mr surya seorang boss syarikat bengkel dsr (dream street restoration),Seorang pelumba sukan permotoran formula 1 Michael Schumacher pernah pandu kereta kebangaan national proton wira 1.8 dan kereta tu ialah bekas kereta sukan permotoran kejohanan juara rally dunia ni.Paling gempak sekali dia pernah lenjan kereta proton wira 1.8 daripada sepang ke cyberjaya untuk menguji tahap kelajuan memandu di lebuhraya dalam lingkungan 235 kilometer per jam,padahal kereta tu dah modifikasi untuk kejohanan juara dunia sukan rally tu.Lebih sebijik macam cerita ada satu seorang ni dan dia ni kaki modifikasi kereta laju-laju juga,kalau korang kenal tu mesti smokey nagata punya orang.Lebih kurang macam ni juga.
Syukur wira 1.8 ku masih ada sampai now tak banyak meragam,bangga dgn proton wira yg masih padaku walaupun dah berusia tapi masih gah disamping kereta contiku yg baru.

Sayangnya pengeluaran wira sebagai kereta rakyat tak diteruskan,patutnya contohi Honda Civic sampai sekarang masih dikeluarkan walaupun dlm varian yg berlainan
Proton tidak upaya masa itu untuk menyimpan Wira lama, kerana teknologi powertrain sendiri sudah bermula dgn Lotus & Engine Campro. Sebab itu Proton guna platform sendiri dan Engine pun buatan tempatan “Economic of scale” mesti kena ada eksport keluar negara. Keperluan global dari segi emesi pembakaran sudah meningkat ke EURO 4 masa itu, sebab itu PROTON memerlukan Rakan global seperti semua syarikat kenderaan lain

Tuan,saya bekas pemilik proton waja campro non cps 2006 intake besi.kereta tu asalnya kereta arwah ayah saya,turun pada saya bila arwah ayah upgrade pkai SUV dan kereta tu sekarang saya berikan kepada adik saya dan akan terus berada dalam keluarga kami demi kenangan bersama arwah ayah saya. Tak dinafikan walaupun sudah hampir 20 tahun kereta tu Dan lebih 300k km berjalan ia masih kereta yg selesa kerana ketegapan rangka dan badan kereta waja. Keselesaan proton waja hampir setanding dengan kereta jenama Jerman juga teknologi ride and handli proton pada saya antara yg tersedap pada waja. Video ini sngt memberikan kesan kepada saya selaku ahli keluarga marhaen yg dpt merasa kemewahan dan keselesaan kenderaan dalam proton waja. Tuan Suriya, Saya kira klip video ini tahap "epic" untuk Cikgu Amin Yahya (harap betul ejaan nama) Saya share pandangqn tuan mengenai Waja sebagai "long distance cruiser" dan injin Campro ni "very fluid". Pengalaman saya selama 4 tahun bersama sebuah kereta model Waja manual pada awal 2006 sebelum terpaksa berpisah dengan kereta tersebut pada Ogos 2010 kerana penempatan tugas. Tahniah di atas kerjatangan tuan yang sungguh memberangsangkan kepada peminat² kereta terutama kereta² Proton. Syabas diucapkan sekali lagi.
