I just bought a PS just to replay this game again. So pissed they canceled it.
for as fun as this looks, and also the higher realism of having to scratch the appropriate disk, the main problem for me is having the dexterity (both mental and physical) to control the disc spin you end up losing your combo a lot due to overplay as you are constantly having to move your hands back and forth, leaving the disc to spin from the momentum of the scratching maybe you need to add some weight to them to help kill the momentum? or adding grips like the original decks. maybe it's best to leave it as a skill issue to be conquered.
In short, the over scratching is a skill issue. During testing, one of my challenges was to overcome extra friction the controller gained after installing a new slip ring. While in theory this version had much tighter input control, I noticed I'm also fighting to reliably scratch because those implicit movements are now harder to perform. In other words, the controller was prone to drop inputs and overall less fun to play. The redesigned controller takes many accomodations to work in such a way the developers never designed for. So in that same vein, I think playing for perfection will be fruitless until a new game is made that adopts the two turntable format. That said I'd love to see someone else have a crack at a new design or layout to see how it plays

Hi, are You also an expert in Guitar Hero? I have a problem with USB dongle for Playstation 3. I looking for dongle for PS3 but original used dongles cost about 50 USD🙈 now there are rare. Maybe You will recomend me tested dongle from China?

I fully believe the game was designed around such an idea. It's been a very natural integration when playing nearly all the original songs
This custom controller looks so much fun to use, just out of curiosity, how much you would charge to make another one?
It would be fun to start producing these but I simply don't have the time :'( . But you can always refer to my build guide to make your own. ( let's crunch some numbers though 🤔 2 controllers + 1 dongle = ~$60 + build time, testing, troubleshooting >= ~$60 + shipping =~$15. Quite an investment but I can't say it's too far off from other specialty home controllers)

if youre using an emulator, maybe try using a MIDI to key translator software like BOME MIDI Translator, then you can buy any kind of mixer you like and assign all the functions to the buttons. I have a Hercules Starlight.

This is taking it to the next level. I actually have 2 turntables for the Wii, I ordered the 2nd one years later because the first one no longer was able to do scratches well... The second came in directly new with the same problem..... Not sure how i can fix it.... I opened it up and saw nothing wrong. It is supposed to be a optical sensor looking at dented edge... So there should be no problem...

@@mohamedzarroug1 sharing all the steps might get me in trouble with copyright law. You will have to download the game ROM and install it on dolphin using available guides. Then refer to the discord server to install the controller (it's easy, but needs different programs for which system the controller is from)

@@mohamedzarroug1 I have high hopes you can figure this out ❤️ install the emulator. Try some games to see if they run properly. If all the adjustments are good, then play Dj hero. If you still like the game after that, then you can play it using my style

@@jesuscarreon4407 yes. The game normally doesn't know how to interpret 2 turntables, so a separate program (and the emulator) is required to trick the game to think we are playing with one.
