This works pretty nice for 500 and below. Just be aware that this obviously is not going to be perfect for more precise shots, but they should be within about an inch or two of trued data. My holds for 600, 700, 800, 900, respectively are 4.2, 5.5, 6.8, and 8.4. Which means a 4, 5, 6, and 7 hold equates to hitting low by about 4.32", 12.6", 23", and 45.36" at those respective distances.

I used to shoot a lot of trap and I had a pump Remington trap model that was punishing on the shoulder after a day of 12ga rounds. I hollowed out the end of the buttstock and dropped in a tungsten rectangle which added over 2.25 pounds to the gun. Adding weight makes a huge difference in recoil.

No, just no. You’re adding in extra movement to rotate the magazine that will get all jumbled up under stress. This method may work for this guy bc he let his body go, but for the majority this is just bad practice. You’re better off getting into shape so you can reload correctly without all this extra stuff bc he lacks self control at the dinner table
