I had super long curly hair about 2 years ago . I actually DID have a mental/emotional breakdown and cut it off. Since then I’ve kept it short while never really liking it. I found your channel tonight while looking for short curly styles. I’m now actually looking at getting a shorter cut with some shorter pieces in front. You look GREAT with the short hair. I also LOVED the long curls as well. But more impressively I really LOVED your attitude about the whole thing and how much you embrace your new look. Mine was so bad. It is cut in two layers, one above my ears and the rest just left. It is a nightmare and much worse. I have to wait 2-3 years now for this to grow out so I can cut it and its so frustrating and stressing me out.

I have really long and silky black hair that reaches my thigh. People always ask me to cut my hair even my family. I don't get why people get to decide what to do with my hair. I feel violated sometimes when my sister decides by herself to cut my hair and have the scissors and comb ready and I said no. You don't get to decide what to do with my hair. I will grow it long if i want to and I can cut it when I want to. One time when I visited a clinic someone asked me to donate my hair for cancer patients and she will treat me dinner as compensation . Since I have long hair I should donate it to those in need since it will grow back even advice to cut it very short down to my chin especially cancer patients and make me feel guilty that it's my fault if i don't donate my hair. Crazy. My male colleague always ask me to sell my hair and we will divide the money. Like wtf?!
