Thank you so much for your exercises, they give me a lot of support. I would appreciate it so much if you would continue with this series, especially the reduction of the spasms is a important topic for all of us here i guess. Thank you!😊
Hey doc what's your thoughts on master t the genetic beast theory on hyperplasia hyperplastic muscle growth ?
My shoulders have been killing me the last 3 weeks . Comes and goes. Funny thing is I can still train it's just after when it flares up.
Very clear information. Thank U very much, Doc! I’m trying to learn how to use my left hand most of the time, because I have problems with my right shoulder. Plus I’m a side sleeper…Man, life is full of surprises.
Nd. All these not-you videos. How do I know it's you? Anyone moves these. But not yours. Not the ones with your face. I get your current situation with the home fights, etc. One day, this will be the past. One day soon. Everything is so surrealistic now. Like a Harry Crews or Flannery O'Connor novel. Signed The honorable Ne.
"I watched your video about shoulder rehabilitation and you mentioned that the treatment involves three phases. Should I perform each phase for a specific period of time, or should I work on all three phases simultaneously? Thank you very much for this informative and helpful video!"
Start phase one and progress once all moves are painfree or sore but no worse afterwards, do the same for each subsequent stage, good luck!
Pls help i got pain in every test in the video
almost 3 years ago I was told I had Ac joint damage and that there was really nothing I could do to fix it other than put in a sling to alleviate tension and pain. This was told to me by 3 "work right sports medicine experts" on the job at Tesla where the injury occurred and the docs I was sent to. Although through out the time since I had found a few exercises that seemed to help but I'm no expert. I'm am so glad I found this and will be introducing all of these techniques to my routines as the pain is mostly gone (probably through just getting use to it). I'm hoping this will help me bring down the giant knot and help increase the strength in my arm and shoulder and help my shoulder blade stay in place as it feels and looks as if it sags lower than the opposite shoulder unless my hopes are to high and unachievable that is.
When I did the bed one I got dizzy and head started shaking a lot and my head got very warm ..
What if there's a lot of pain and cracking in neck and head when you press against something..I get clicking sound in my ears and head too
I have fluid on my elbow how can i get rid of it please
I appreciate the capo reference you used; it's a good one. I've been through over three years of chronic (medial) elbow pain--including useless surgeries--and don't understand how I was never directed towards a wrist brace, which makes perfect sense! I like your gentle and thoughtful approach to healing.
For me, my golfer's elbow should be called guitarist's elbow since I got it from playing several hours a day for a couple years now. Do you think I could use the wrist brace and still play guitar or will it restrict my wrist movement to the point that I couldn't fret properly? I don't want to buy one if I can't play the guitar while wearing it. BTW, I'm doing plenty of stretches, massage, etc. to address the causes of the problem, but I want to weare something during these acute pain periods. My golfer's elbow started just 4 days ago.
Thanks for your clear explanations
Can i swimm
Great informative video, what about intercoastal muscles when we have a slipping rib or costochondritis?
Thanks for watching! Light percussion with the softest attachment has been well tolerated by my patients, good luck!
Over the years taping has helped me with plantar fasciitis, Achilles insertional inflammation, knee pain, and wrist strain.
Most of my pain is in the inside of my forearm. Is this still tennis elbow?
I'm not sure if your argument against the strap makes sense. In the case of the guitar, if you've got the "capo" on the strings, then the tension is held at the capo, not at the tuning pegs. Right? If the tension is reduced or held constant at the brace, its seems that it would give the area at the elbow a chance to heal without additional stress.
Too much repetitive talk and no useful exercise.
I injured mine doing butchery and slaughter for years.
Massage makes my pain worse. Actually anything other than babying it does. Cant play guitar. Or piano. Or anything . Cant shoot a gun.
Calcaneus problem more thn 7 yrs!!! Plz hlp🙏
Really good instructions for applying K Tape. How do you know if it's peroneal vs achilles vs heal that needs taping since all are in similar areas. Your heal taping video is excellent too.
thx for watching! if the pain is closer to the outside, around the outer ankle bone (malleolus) or where the tendon attaches towards the side of the midfoot i would try this taping. I've also experimented with 'stacking' multiple tapings for extra support depending on what's needed. good luck!
I thought the Tyler twist would be the best exercise for me but I found when doing the twist using my fingers it activates the part that hurts the most for me. Could it be something different than tennis elbow and do you recommend me doing the twist with fingers everyday instead of the Tyler twist? If it helps the pain is in my right elbow on the inside between the two bones. No pain throughout the day unless I try to workout or climb. I took a 2 week break from climbing but still hurts the same as the day I injured it. Not sure how long I shouldn’t climb for but I’m losing my progress doing nothing 😭😭😭
So far I've perused 100 Videos and NO ONE has mentioned the risk of BLOOD CLOTS. You like restricting 100% of venous flow? Yeah - sounds perfect.
Thank you so much for this super Video. I am a Physio and I have this golfarm tendinosis now since seven months. 🙁 Does ultrasound treatment overdue the Problem too? Many greatings. 🙋♀️
Thank you very much for your tutorial.
Grade 2 separation after a hard fall on tennis court last week. This video is beyond helpful and so encouraging when all looks bleak. Many, many thanks for your helpful video which I will be following trying some of the exercises in the coming days.
Can you provide exercises for retro collie?
Perfect time* to unearth your channel! Parcelling out the rehab exercises into three categories is such a great idea. Your video has one other invaluable asset: your voice. There is optimism in your voice. An injured dude or dudette wants nothing more - aside from real world rehab specifics - than to be assured they are on the road to recovery. Knowledge and optimism; a powerful combo. * The ultrasound my GP scheduled will reveal the precise nature of my injury - my hunch is a grade one level injury to anterior deltoid and long head of the biceps. The most unsettling thing was the beginning when I heard a sudden ‘pop’ (grade 3 muscle tear horror stories dominated my thoughts). I calmed down significantly after maniacal sessions of ice/heat, research, testing and continual reassessment. Then I discovered your channel! Lucky dude am I. All the best from beautiful Vancouver, Canada!
My left biceps tendon to my shoulder ripped and 5 docs missed it after I told them I got shoulder pain 8 years ago Im sad
This was very helpful! Balanced and well rounded info of the situation. Thanks 👏🏽
You should make a proper dystonia exercise video for the entire body. Dystonia patients are in very much need.
Great exercises! I just bought the red one. Having some tennis elbow issues from pickleball and weights with my exercises. Had to get a shot because the pain was too much. Slowly rehabbing now. Your videos are very helpful.
What if i have calcified bursitis and an adjacent tear according to the scan
Thank you!
I had a meniscal tear and last summer a torn Achilles tendon. I’ll take the meniscal tear 100%. Neither are much fun.
Have you met such a person who has healed his meniscus? I have seen a lot of videos on CZcams and most of the doctors advise people to undergo surgery only to make money and people get it done and then suffer pain for the rest of their lives. Can this really be healed or has it happened to someone? Please reply.
I am having forearm pain on top of the elbow area. It’s been 6-7 months. Sometimes it’s very bad. Can’t even do simple tasks.
Could you tell me what kind of movement I should avoid to prevent LHB tendon injuries? I know I shouldn't reach back far while spiking a volleyball (sometimes feel painful) but I need a more specific instruction.
often the motion of pushing your arm forward (like sawing wood) activates the biceps tendon, alternatively repetitive motion overhead at the extreme ends of range can compress the tendon, so both mechanisms can be at play with this problem and should be considered. good luck!
for tennis elbow help me tapes. it takes a bit of experimentation to get it right. if it's uncomfortable, take it off and try another way.. the effect is solid
Shoulder injury here. By chance can you recommend rehab gym here in North Dallas Plano/Frisco area. I would come see you but the distance is to much.
thanks for that! honored for the consideration. I don't know anyone in your area but I'd look for a PT with an OCS designation (board certified in Orthopedics) and at a smaller privately owned clinic - chances are better you'll get more time and attention imho at those kinds of clinics (like mine). good luck!
I just now taped my foot, God i hope it works 🙏
How many weeks post surgery do you start these exercises and what's the frequency ? sets reps and total days per week?
post surgery the protocols may be different so best to check with your surgeon to get cleared. Once cleared the general RX will be daily for active motion exercises and 3x/weekly for the harder strengthening exercises, sets and reps on the endurance side - 3x12 or 3x15 to some fatigue but no pain. good luck!
If I understand it right for tennis elbow - should I do Tyler Twist twice a day (6 hours apart) and 4 sets of 30-second holds? Not sure, if I can do Tyler Twist for 30 seconds. Or were these sets just for conditioning?
thx for watching! these are two separate but related strategies - i would start with just one at a time first - Twists without any holds x15 twice daily, OR holds at whatever intensity you can manage even if it's light at first. do that one strategy for at least 5+ days and then reassess. good luck!
@@focusrehab got it...thanks a lot

Helped my heel bursitis tremendously, thank you!!
i hv my peroneal tendon sliding on ankle how cn it recover
does the advice re elbow strap also apply to elbow compression supports ?
thx for watching! the mechanism of the compression supports is different enough that i would consider a compression support for management of elbow pain, swelling and mild joint instability that i typically find with arthritis. good luck
@@focusrehab many thanks , am investing in wrist brace and a Flexbar following your advice. will report back idc 😀
