Aloha, I just wanted to reach out and thank you, big time Magalo’s. I know ya apologized for low energy and what not… but you, yes you saved me. I must have watched 15 to 20 how to’s on rebuilding Axles and Hub Bearings … and not one of them EVER mentioned the O-Ring that goes on the back of the Hub bearing. (And I had mine already put together on the Spindle) Luckily for me, I caught your Tips before finishing up and dropping the Taco off the jacks. Can’t thank you enough, you are the MAN ALOHA

I’m 74. Most schools stopped teaching welding decades ago. Most young people don’t even know what hand tools are or how to use them. My grandsons are early twenties and this would be a professional skill job to them. I learned welding, metal fabrication, machining, wood working, drafting and more in four years of high school. Schools stopped teaching that stuff as unnecessary. But they still have basketball, football, wrestling and other courses that are unnecessary to living in the real world.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. Got my 2022 Tacoma headed to the shop to get this done. I don't have near the skills or tools to do this. Couple of local shops turned the job down and pointed me to Tucson Differential .. that's all they do! I have a 4Wheel Camper on my rig so it's always carrying 1100 lbs and you can tell. The truck is always shifting and cruise control is about worthless. Pretty sure this will solve my problem.

Thanks for the vid!! Glad you mentioned a test drive. Just put new bearings into my boat trailor. Seated bearings...backed of a quarter turn...pinned the castle nut. After test drive with boat checked for wheel play and there was quite a bit. Had to reseat the bearings again.....I used 50 ft-# of torque and backed the nut of a quarter turn. Have a very very slight amount of wheel play. I have to take it out again for second test drive see what happens.

I'm sure you've been asked...do you take orders? I'd pay top dollar for your camper!

Thanks for the great build and ideas, you forgot to give an estimate of how much, I have to assume that the aluminum frame with all the dedicated hardware is not cheap but it probably is very strong, I don't know what you did for the back portion but I would have done a similar flap like the one in the front that is easy to open and close, that also makes a very nice space for a quick nap is you are travelling and don't want to set up a tent or something like that , that back space is also perfect to set up a battery with a bms and inverter, all nicely tucked in and out of sight, a couple of solar panels and you are a rolling power station. If you could post a PDF with the plans and materials would be of great help. Shout out to your sensei he taught you well, cheers from Canada.

I just found your channel yesterday. Great videos and VERY informative! Thanks!!!! You've convinced me to fab my overland trailer myself instead of buying a 4x6 and modifying it from there. I'll be thanking you with a little $$$.

Don't ever use blue shop towels on painted or glossy surfaces as they contain grit. Also, methyl alcohol is better to use than mineral spirits as the alcohol doesn't stink like the mineral spirits do.. Regardless, make sure you have a fan going for ventilation. As far as the grey matting, I would put it up with some 3M super 77 adhesive as it will look neater than using those pins.Personally I would put the soundproofing in the roof first as that's the panel closest to your ears.

Looks good, maybe anchor the middle of the end awnings to the hinge area so you don’t have to try and tuck it in while closing? Also creating a couple bungee points on the sides you can hook up before closing to bring the sides in so the lid doesn’t pinch it. Just a thought, looks good!

I need help please. I did it step by step and everything was almost perfect. Now I have the 4WD light flashing on the panel. This situation has me worried because I don't touch, much less disconnect, anything. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes and there were no changes. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for the videos. If I understand correctly, you floor is a sheet of 3mm ACM attached to the frame, then a half inch of foam insulation, and then vinyl flooring on top. Is that right, and are you still happy with that?
