Regulating My Emotions
Hi Beans!
I recorded this video a few months ago and never made the time to edit it, let alone release it. However, I'm so glad that I finally did because it truly served as a reminder of how far I've come when it comes to my personal journey with emotional regulation.
Emotional regulation is something very new to me and the journey of discovering HOW to do it has been challenging, but rewarding to say the least. Our moods are influenced by a variety of factors, both internally and externally. Our moods ebb and flow from day-to-day, and that is why it is important to have effective coping skills in your mental health toolbox to ensure you're prepared to bear the brunt of the storm.
This video is not meant to be q blueprint, but rather, serve as an example. Remember that what works for one person, may not work for another. Therefore, every piece of insight/advice is merely an offering; you get to decide if that insight/advice serves and resonates with you.

Hey Bean! love watching your videos and TikTok’s 🥺 gives me inspiration every single day, I struggle with borderline personality disorder, Crohn’s disease and my anxiety always makes everything worse, your motivation brought me a different view on how i should look at life , been going to rehab and watching your content daily is just a stress relief :) much love and keep your head up!!!
When you make Mexican rice, make sure you get about 2 cups of water, 2-3 cloves of garlic, a decently sized tomato, 1/2 of a decently sized onion, and a tablespoon of salt. Once you got all of that, blend it. Once your rice is golden brown, put all of the blended mixture into the rice pot and close it with a lid for about 15 minutes and don’t touch it. Make sure your stove is at medium heat when letting the rice cook. That’s pretty much it! Just wanted to help out a bit :)
