Trail running around the Langdale Pikes

So this is from November - I wasn't going to post this as I seem to have lost quite a bit of footage, however, it seemed a waste so here it is anyway - minus the initial climb up to Stickle Tarn! The Langdales is one of my favourite places in the Lakes and I've been wanting to go back and run these peaks for a long time! Although it was initially a cold start, it turned into a lovely warm day! ...

@catman2007 the camera batteries and memory card would not last the whole 5 hours it took to complete the route, and I don't think that would make for good watching! I tried to show the turning points as they were the most important.

Haha thank you! I tried the gaffer tape but it wouldn't stick? Maybe it was the wrong type?

You said you didn't enjoy road walking but i think you would have enjoyed it more than going through that swamp, i think the gods were looking down on you at the end when the footpath was closed off and you had to walk the road.

Oh blimey, that looked tough. Very well done for not getting disheartened and getting through, you're a tough cookie. Best of luck for the rest of your journey 👍

Well done Claire and sorry to hear about your mum. It will be lovely for you to get out more with her, my mum is elderly wheelchair bound and it’s her lifeline to getting out. Looking forward to your next video’s, you’re braver than me in front of a camera! As others have said you come across great. I have donated to your cause! 😃
