Americans love identity politics based on invented identities. Scots-Irish means almost nothing. The Scots and all people of the British Isles being very non-uniform in ancestry. For example, ancient Britons (maybe from Switzerland/ France and maybe further afield), Bretons, various Celts, Picts, Romans, Southern Scandinavians (Jutes/Angles), northern Dutch, Lower Saxons, Northern Scandinavians, Normans, Huguenot, etc. Most diverse is probably old Northumbria / Danelaw which covers a lot of what is today England and Scotland. This made up also the protestant / Reformation part of Britain. However, Ireland (Eire) also had many influences from similar sources. Perhaps, the least diverse of Britain were traditionally some areas of Cornwall, Highlands, various Islands of the coast and parts of Wales. Now, of course, Britain and Ireland are being invaded by many other new types. Most of which never were in the genetic make-up before. However, one interesting thing is the Scots (one cultish tribe) came from Ireland once - but they are only one part of what genetically makes up ‘Scot’land traditionally. Probably a minority element - subjext to area of modern Scotland. In the same way, ‘Eng’land was probably only minority Angle in specific ancestry. In fact, England was traditionally mainly ancient Briton, Celt and later Romano-British (Celt) before Angles even knew it existed - just like Ireland was before the Scandinavians, Normans, English, Ulster Scots, Welsh etc arrived.

"For too long the fabric of American history which is interwoven with that of Ireland has been coloured Green when...the colour of America's Indepence should be Orange as much as Red, White and Blue. ... With the help of certain prominent political [RC] Irish-American families, Southern Ireland has received more favourable propaganda than is warranted, to say nothing of contraband weapons for the IRA... To which Ireland, America owes her gratitude has been perverted. Equity has fallen in America's streets when she bestows praise and aid on terrorists while ignoring her profound debt to Northern Ireland. The pro-Roman Catholic, pro-"Irish"[RC] press notwithstanding, Orangemen of Northern Ireland were America's truest friends in the Revolution and her truest friends today." The Brics union (BRITS UNION) look like nothing more then the restored British empire. This is why England most likely left the European Union as they have this secret alternative they have been working on in the dark. Allot of the member countries are "former" English Colonies. I do believe this union will crystallize as such once British operatives loyal to the crown weed out outliers and useful misguided individuals. Monarchs that fled eastern Europe and other places during WW2 were permitted in the UK but it looks like the caveat was that they may have to work now for the benefit of the British Empire?
