Can this len be implanted without assist of laser?
Can this lens be implanted without laser assisted?
Can these lenses be implanted with manual blade surgery or laser is a must?
I'm confused. Why is the patient still wearing glasses for this interview when he appears to be seated well within or even beyond an "intermediate distance" from the camera and interviewer?
@@lisar3944 dear lisar, intermediate area covers appr. 60cm-200cm, so it’s quite a range. The lens Ralf got implanted is an enhanced monofocal lens, which is optimized for far distances but gives better vision in the intermediate area than a standard lens, but doesn’t give freedom of glasses for this area. (Furthermore, Ralf is diagnosed with strabismus, so he will never be glass free). Nevertheless, to better cover the intermediate area patients can chose so called comfort or Edof (extended depth of focus) lenses. These cover the intermediate area. Hallo, wie sieht es aus, wenn sich nach mehreren Jahren nach der Grauen Star op etwas an meiner netzhaut tut. Sollte mein Visus fallen, so könnte ich die Lentis linse immernoch gut vertragen? Welche Additionen gibt es oder gibt es die nur für einen bestimmten Abstand? Falls ich doch blendungen wahrnehmen sollte, könnte ich diese dann wieder zu einer monofokalen tauschen auch nach jahren? Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass wir hier nur allgemeingültige Aussagen treffen können, und keine individuellen Diagnostiken stellen können. Nur nach einer eingehenden ärztlichen Untersuchung und einer individuellen Beratung sollten Sie sich gemeinsam mit Ihrem Augenarzt für eine bestimmte Linse entscheiden. Grundsätzlich verhilft die Comfort IOL zu einer scharfen Sicht ab ca. 50cm, sprich dem sog. Intermediärbereich (Computer, Tablet, Einkaufen, Smartphone). @@TeleonSurgical Nun sind sie ja aber gar nicht auf meine Fragen eingegangen. Das finde ich sehr schade. Ich habe nämlich etwas über die eine "zusatz" Linse gelesen die man auch wieder entfernen könnte, falls es zu so einem Netzhautfall kommen sollte.
