Remainder of the footage from the fire road ride. I thought this would be a dirt road but ended being a somewhat paved road with lots of pot holes.

Took the shortcut up to the OHV which is always a rougher ride but I wanted to see what this suspension has to offer. I'm actually impressed with this bike and it will obviously do everything I need it to do. I cut the video a little short since it was a little boring on the paved road that I assumed would be dirt. :-( There should be a link at the end for my modifications.

Is it easy to add the switch to turn off the abs, as I have lots of trouble using the one on the dashboard
Yeah I basically followed the wiring from the rear sensor and right before where it plugs in a spliced into that wire, You have basically turning off the rear sensor which turns off the ABS. If you turn the key off and turn the switch back on it re-enables the ABS. Thanks for watching.
Songs amazing, Very kool.
Sooooo, how they work ??????
Oh they completely change basic forks. I’ve installed gold emulators in most of my bikes for the last 20 years.
good one. time for me to make one too .
Have fun!
Two very impressive and handsome examples of streamlined steam power, I really both the like the NYC Dreyfuss Hudson and the SP GS4 types and I hope to have one example of each of these locomotive models in my personal collection in the future at some point. I really like the streamlined steam locomotives as they have a unique appearance and I need to earn more personal income in order to be able to afford these locomotive models.
Does the seat incline you toward the tank at all? My dealer has one of his own and he says the seat does that to him. I'm deciding between buying a regular height or tall one. I'm the same height and inseam as you. My suspension is stock.
No because it’s the tall seat. It’s basically flat.
Today I rode with my dealers seat on my bike. It felt great. I can't wait to get my own.
So I'm interested in building something very similar. Using the 140g or the 140 RF either one. And wanting to go with USD forks. But I want to actually add suspension travel in the process. Giving me full 12 in travel like a normal Motocross fork. Modifying the rear to do the same would be very simple. I'm wondering if that would have been a done deal if you had not added bump stops. Or is the forks just simply too short for 21-in front wheel that you used?
Might be too short for a 21”. I have since put KX100 wheels and tires on this bike.
Can anyone tell me more about that exhaust i really couldnt catch that
It’s a Delkevic exhaust.

I love the headlight and front fender mods on your bike. Looks like a Husqvarna WXE from the 90’s.
Thanks. Thats pretty much what I was going for. A retro enduro. :-) I actually have some round side cover number plates that will fit.
Hornby did a collaboration with rivorossi
Very impressive and handsome models of the SP GS4 type locomotives, these BLI models of the GS4 are the best models of the type currently available in ho scale and they have a nice variety of paint schemes. When I finally save up enough money 💰💰 for myself I will decide to purchase a GS4 model detailed in the black/ silver paint scheme such as the locomotive in this video. I always liked the SP GS series 4-8-4 engines in the black/ silver paint scheme as that scheme is very attractive to me as a contrast to the more popular "daylight" paint scheme, very enjoyable video- Tom.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments. :-)
Excellent vid. Q: how do I know what flasher unit to purchase. For Versys x 300 .
There is a link in the description.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC Thanks.
Dead rail would be cool, never have to worry about dirty rails ever again.
Fantastic drone video please 🙏 follow me 👍🙏👏👏👏
Nice!
What are the tyres you have on the Versys? Good videos. Thankyou.
Those are the Shinko 804/805 combo. They work great on and off road here. I have them on my 1250GS as well. Thanks for watching.
Thankyou.
I need to keep an eye out for a new run of these. The best I can tell they sell out everywhere and they're hardly available on the second hand market.
Yeah I had to pick one up right after a run myself. Thanks for watching.
That sounds painful riding. Is the suspension set right for you or is it a really rough bike to ride? I'm thinking of buying one......tomorrow. 😳😁
Did you buy one? Yes the suspension is setup for my weight. You have to keep in mind this bike is basically made from street bike parts and they are amazing on road.
Yes I bought one but it's not here yet. 😢
With 5" of travel and a certain percentage of that used on sag you don't have to hit a very large bump and the suspension bottoms out even at slower speeds or you have it set stiff enough to not bottom out and your ride is harsh. 5" just isn't much to work with.
Where was it located before?
Stock location under the rear fender. End up it doesn’t matter where it’s at it’s always inaccurate.
Do they have a soft bag system that fitsthese racks?
Not sure. I’ve pretty much switched to rackless bags on everything.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC After a ton of research and looking at all the cool bag systems they have nowadays. That's what i'm going to do also. Reading people like your comments and others
Man I'm saddened to see that beautiful layout be ripped up but I understand the why. I have been so slack 😢 on my CZcams page. I need to get on that and add more videos. You know I'm gonna follow ya. BTW much better mic. 😊
Not that big of a deal really, only about 10' has scenery on it and the rest of the track is just sitting on wood not even nailed or glued down.
If they made this in 400, it would be ideal. I am daily driving the 300 currently, and I love it. The one thing i wish, is a little more power.
A 400 with a 270 degree crank would be amazing.
I got the trail tech temp sensor for my Himalayan. A big thanks to you Mr Mike .
Let me know if there is ever anything I can help you source that you have troubles getting in India. I’m sure we can figure something out.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC So kind of you to say that . Will def get in touch . And yes I had a subscriber who works in the US bring it along with him . Had to wait for almost 3 months .
Yessir. These really are good bang for ya buck. I have, I think,6 BBs. 4 of them are Rivarossi. They are not all new, but they all have the motor in the boiler as opposed to the old version with the motor in the cab. These models run really well on DC, so converting them to DCC with a decent decoder, is even better. The only problem with the 90s runs, is they have a poor electrical pickup ( pickups on only 4 drivers) & are prone to failure, which seriously affects its running ability. I do have a later run ( about 4-5 years old ) model that has the upgraded pickups on all drivers. Why they didnt produce a tender pickup system, like the upgraded FEF3, beats me. I put a TCS WOW in one of the older models, & am still blown away with the smooth slow speed control.I never run my locos at more than about 40mph, so slow speed is a must. I think you ended up using the Tsunami 2 & that does run well at ss 1. Thankyou for a look at your loco demo running so well...Cheers Michael NZ
😂😂
:-)
Curious, have you had a chance to look at mpg?
Not really. Riding off road my guess is over 50 mpg. I’ve been riding on the same tank of gas since getting it back on the road. LOL
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC holy cow! Lol
Nice ride! I hate pea gravel too. Lots of nice scenery to look at.
Wish Atlas would have added the cab sunshades. Plus it has incorrect number boards for the SP version. The ones it has are to small. Also would be nice if they would have added the correct SP snowplow.
Agree sunshades and snow plow should have been a no brainer.
Hi, I have the same bike. Where did you get the beak just below the headlight? That makes it look much better.
The V300 beak was ordered on www.aliexpress.com
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC thanks
The Reading T1's in N do it! Syringe is the way to go! haha. The fluid is to thick (even the marklin) causes big air bubble lol! As long as you get that syringe at the bottom and fill your good! Wanna go below the air!! Cheers! Cool Video!
So in europe we got the taller seat as standard. I find it hard but comfortable, in the us u get the lower seat for some reason.
Thanks Mike. Great video👍
Man that's a nice scenery for riding! Bike seemed to do well.
Thank you Sir for taking the time to share this, this will be my skid plate of choice! Made in America 🇺🇸
And thank you for watching. It’s been a decent skid plate so far. I’ve had a couple of decent hits but no dents.
Nice video. Atlas did pretty good with these.
I think so too. Thanks for watching.

Very nice models by atlas. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. :-)
Himalayan meters aren't responding after I converted to carborator, but gear count and oil are fine.any clue I do i fixed it?
I didn’t unplug any of that. My bike had an O2 sensor so I put an O2 sensor bypass on it but never touched the ECU or instrument cluster. Did you happen to unplug something by accident? If I remember correctly the kit came with a plug for the fuel injector and fuel pump but that shouldn’t have anything to do with the instrument cluster.
Himalayan meters aren't responding after I converted to carborator, but gear count and oil are fine.any guess?
Congrats. U earned it Mike.

Bike looks great! You did a great job. How comfortable is that seat?
1000x better than the stock seat. LOL.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC I swapped stock seat on VROD to a Sundowner. Omg that was Sooo comfortable! Big difference. I get it.
I own an identical model along with the 5-passenger car set. I bought it a few months ago at the model railroad club I am part of for 90 dollars. I do also have the instructions and parts diagram of which it tells me my model is a 1994 release. The driver wheel flanges are made for code 83 from factory and it's cool that it is possible to DCC this model thanks to having a can motor installed of which I did do that, but I have an overheating problem. Turns out that the solder contact below the motor that goes to the pilot boogie was touching the motor. When I get time, I will fix that issue by isolating the motor better. My model does pull the 5 cars with ease and at high speed but when I added dcc, it ran slower but of course that was due to the motor isolation issue. when I fix it, I hope it can run at full speed.
