Why isn't the Fort preserved? It's still history so why not take care of it? The hallways on the Fort are so dark! How did anyone see down there. Stoney Barnard is pretty and I can't believe that the outskirts are just regular homes. Glad that the property is being taken care of. Love visiting haunted places!!!!

My Great Great Grandad was/is John Cobb who the town is named after. The Sikes, Cobbs, Cowerts and Collins that live there are all cousins of mine. My last name is Bazemore. My Grandmother Bazemore graduated Cobbtown High School before she moved to Metter.

Beautiful imaging as well as narrative… I came from the foothills of the Bavarian alps at 10 to the swamps is the Savannah Ga area and as far as diversity GEORGIA has it all within a few hours …beaches canyons Forrest all in this beautiful country… thank you for sharing this should have so many more likes!!!
