If a ship travels at a constant 1g acceleration rate it would get to Alpha Centauri in 3.6 years (7.3 years would pass on Earth) and this includes turning the ship around halfway to decelerate. It would achieve about 95% light speed in 1 year. A 10 ton ship would require a mere 10 tons of continuous thrust. This is by far the fastest way we can get to other worlds and the ship would have gravity the whole way. All that is needed for this to become a reality is a fission rocket that can put out thrust for long periods and does not consume hydrogen. A true fission rocket should consume uranium or plutonium only. They are both jittery atoms that are on the verge of fissioning all by themselves. There should be a way to get them to fission in a linear fashion. What's needed is a controlled, time released nuclear explosion. In an atomic bomb fission occurs when neutrons hit uranium or plutonium nuclei. This is because they will not tolerate an increase in mass. Due to the equivalence of mass and energy the same should be true in you infuse them with energy. This might be as simple as having negatively charged uranium or plutonium atoms coming into contact with positively charged uranium or plutonium atoms. 1 kg of uranium contains the same potential energy as 120,000 tons of coal and plutonium has even more energy. Not much would be needed for the trip. With the constant acceleration method a ship can span the entire diameter of our galaxy in 24 ship/113,000 Earth years. Systems with stars similar to our sun can be reached in under 10 ship years.

Air Production - Fly Dragon - Close Air System Cars can work by atmosferic air This idea came from 11 years ago. They tried to have a car with air and petrol but it did not work. l asked why ? and l got the solution . We can do this only by air , not normal ways to make engines until now . Atmospheric air, if worked in a closed circuit can make a car moving . We have this idea in the Air Conditioning for cold , with compression and decompression , czcams.com/video/CNofxbMUsnY/video.html valves to close and open at the same time we can do it . But l do not have money for make any investiment. But the ideia is mine and is my name i want to be the person l developed for the first time . Air can be used from 7 to 50 bars easily but also can go 600 bars and more , like gas from petrol Technology , and oil industry for factories that are very advanced . Factories can work by air engines ,industrial fans generators to do electricity , bouts , and a lot of things, small airplanes or big ? That is very difficult to implant because it touches lots of industries but is a solution for our environment . All the three must work to save the Earth Dinis Soares

Ok this video is an disapointment certainly not worthy of the channel name. The pure lack of information makes it more of a misinformation video as it leads you to a wrong assumptions if you do not know any better. Many other commemtars pointed out a few of them. Frankly you should pull this video; get back on researching as there is plenty of information about this topic and improve this video before you reupload it updated. 3 minutes about evs just isnt enough to cover the topic in depth to give a honest objective view on it. Especially the point about co2 emissions is infurating the comparison just isnt fair to begin with. If you compare them you need to look at life time emissions or at least mention the far greater co2 reduction while you drive a ev. A few graphics and statistics would be nice as well. Hope you improve on it hate to see your potential go to waste.😊

While every EV maker obviously try to improve environmental factors of EV production, the environmental impact of EVs are ridiculously small compared to ICE cars, it is very unmasking and obvious that this environmental discussion against EVs is result of targeting campaigns to keep oil burning going as the big money is there. Nothing is more harmful for the environment as ICE cars and other usage of fossile fuels, it is a ridiculous discussion, and the nonsense story with the cobalt kids in africa is BS, and is brought up over and over again. Raw materials like lithium and cobalt (which is only used in about half of EVs, and by the way in many industries like oil industry and ICE car industry as well) are pretty low and environmental factors are clearly on the EV side. Consider the lifetime cycle of a car, if you do the math the result is terrible and shocking for ICE cars, and it shows how necessary it is to go away from ICE cars and go the EV road as fast as possible.

I think the question of their ethicality is required for long term consideration. After all EVs required slave & child labor, especially early on to be created in the first place. In other words EVs literally used modern slavery as a stepping stone to create the entire EV revolution. What's worse is people knew about this BEFORE EVs started to grow, & still purchased the vehicles. As if that isn't bad enough EVs enthusiast actually try & justify it, by using comparisons.

Don't spread this nonsense BS of slave and child labor, that is true for oil industry, go and watch Nigeria, but not for EVs, it is nonsense and a targeted campain to delay EV adoption, as this is the biggest threat in history for the oil industry. Every sane person with some technical knowledge can see immediately that EVs are the future, besides all other factors the 70% saving in primary energy ends the discussion immediately, it is ridiculous that this after all these years still is not understood by so many.

It is true that the manufacturing of the average EV generates 8.1 tonnes of CO2, according to Argonne National Laboratory. But rather that stressing how huge that is, it would be good to say that producing the average gasoline vehicle produces 5.5 tonnes of CO2, according to the same source. And then, you could add that the difference, the "carbon debt" of the EV is amortized in 5-15'000 miles, depending on the models, or a year of driving or less for the average US motorist. That would be good, fact-based journalism! BTW, NO EV battery produces 17 tonnes of CO2, not even half... except ONE, that of the Hummer EV3X! A monster! No, an abomination! Then, you mention that half the lithium supply comes from the so-called "lithium triangle"... which was true... a couple of years ago! But huge lithium resources are being found EVERYWHERE in the world, in the US of A (CA, NV, ...), UK, France, Portugal, and of course Australia .... well, lithium is being proven to be found everywhere, and quite often in extremely easily exploitable forms, such as underground brines. So, a good journalist would present the situation of tomorrow, not that of yesterday! You could have also said that the water needed to produce the lithium for the average EV's battery is the same as the amount of water needed to produce one pair of jeans (!!!), or 2 lb of steak! THAT would have been more useful than the number of tonnes of water per tonne of lithium, a quantity to which no one can relate to! There are indeed artisanal cobalt mines in the RDC, in which work conditions, especially those of children, are shocking. But that would be interesting to add that not an once, not a gram of that cobalt is finding its way into an EV battery... which cannot be said of the catalyst used to refine the gasoline and diesel fuel going into ICE vehicle. That is no poor journalism, but PURE DISINFORMATION! Disposal methods for end-of-life batteries? No such things exist! EV batteries must, by law be recycled at 100%. It is true that a battery improperly removed from, say, an EV totaled in an accident, can be a fire risk. So, they are NOT stored as such, but rather ground and milled to what is called in the industry the "black mass", which IS safe to store, awaiting recycling of its constituting elements. You have succeeded in making a video presenting most, but not all, the obsolete things, falsehoods and other utter lies and myths being spread around on the topic of EV. Congratulations! I, as a specialist engineer stand at your disposal to help you do better on your next video!
