amazing tutorial! i tried it out and works wonderfully!
very useful tutorial video thank you very much
You are a BEAST! thank you so much for this tutorial, it was exactly what I needed :D
Than you, bro. Very good tip!
just what i needed
great tutorial but a lot of functionalities have changed with the latest version. I couldn't get the pattern to cover my image as you did around the 2:40 mark. what am i doing wrong?
Just retesed tutorial and it works the same way so make sure you start with rectangle that have pattern already as a first step, and sotcond thing zou could be doing could be doing wrong make sure that order of iputs is same as in my video so firs stlot in composite is copping form stack before and second slot is connected to source graphics
Brief and well explained, keep up!
very good and comprehensible, please add more of a complex example at the end just after recap. Btw, Recap is a perfect addition to the lesson!
thanks , any spesific shape you would have in mind ?
the arrows with the nodes don't appear for me is there another setting you need to turn on?
Make sure you are in node tool and that scaling of nodes is enabled
omg this is what ive been looking for for the last hour. super thank you!
thanks :)
I was looking for a way to do that because it needs much time to make it manually. I think the clipping method is the best one because of flexibilty. Great Tutorial. Thanks.
Hello.. Sir do v need to buy drawing tablet to draw these patterns on inkscape...or we can design these patterns using mouse?? Which method is good according to u.
You don't need tablet actually for this kind of work mouse is better
Thank u sir.. Is it possible to make the lines thinner?
@@shlokapoojary5069 yes you can do that in fill and stroke dialog
Great tutorial. Unfortunately 1.3 is highly unstable while using this method
hmm intresitng did not tested that will have to report back. ibut this was never super stable you haveto try not to add too many clones
ah yes just tested this yes it crashes :(
@@AdamBelis Yes. I think it's because of using markers and roughen effect the same time. I was testing it even without the clones and it was crusing every time I was trying to move node after I set markers and added roughen. Separately both of them work but in combination Inkscape looses stability. :/
Yes i report that'd you cannot use lpe and parkers at the same time anymore
@@AdamBelis Thanks!
Thank you! Hours of searching and experimenting -you answered all questions in less than 4 minutes.
this has been made even simplier fform version 1.2 . just navigate to style stroke tab and change dashstrok to custom under that there will be field where you can type in all your custom dashes
Confusing
Sorry to hear that any specific part ?
@@AdamBelis moves pretty fast, and I can't really follow without a little more explanation.
I @@AdamBelis I think you were using a different version of Inkscape, maybe. I just installed 1.3 after trying to follow you. Let me see.
Yes this dialóg was little changed in last version
About the time of "Shhhhh" I've lost you. I'll keep trying.
Thanks a lot for the video!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
I'm surprised that this is the last video you uploaded, please upload more your videos are really great and informative with high quality effort, I'm sure one of your base tutorials will be bombed with views which will increase your subscribers count.
my tutorial videos was kind of test if its possible for me to creat content, work on my normal clients and have a normal life . hehe let's say I burned out a little bit during this test :D. hopfull i will find time and motivation to do more.
Nice video and license, very chad move.
Awesome tutorial 😮
amazing,,,, thank you for sharing this video 💕 (:
I love it! First I was copying my stars manually. Thewn I've learned that I can just spray them. Now I know I can spray as many objects as I want to!
yes its quit usful if you wan some nice organic patterns that you can artdirect
Great tutorial! Definitely going to make use of this one.
Dude, thanks from the bottom of my heart, finally i got the clip feature, it's so easy 😂
its not that hard its just kind a hidden logic i wis UI was better :/
Is curvature pen convertible to grease pencil?
yes
It looks like invisible curve
Yes i should have change a spline color before the recording sorry about that
@@AdamBelis thank you.
This was very helpful, thank you.
5:09 woah, you adam are the person who are bright example of - having great tools is okay, but it's the artist who makes it in the end.
What tool(s) are use for shading ?
love this, hope to see ore tutorials
Has this been removed, or is there some way to toggle it? It doesn't seem to work like this with the latest version.
this is not relesed yet its going to be in 6 mohts if you wan to test it dowlad development version inkscape.org/release/inkscape-dev/?latest=1
@@AdamBelis 👍
thank you very much !
this is sooo cool... ^^ thank you for sharing ^^
Hi sir i tried doing this on inkscape..but my lines are breaking after using tiling option..how can i solve this problem?
how exactly are they braking? how does that look like
@@AdamBelis thanks..my problmhas been solved.. Can i use inkscape on ipad?
@@shlokapoojary5069 no inkscape only on win Mac linux
@@AdamBelis ok. Sir do we have the path effects options like tiling, perspective etc in affinity designer?
@@shlokapoojary5069 to my knowledge no
Wow! I learned a lot of things about Inkscape from this video. Thank you very much! I was really looking for a method to make an Overlay filter permanent, so it does not change when I move the object. That "Make a bitmap copy" and then "Trace bitmap" solves that problem. 💡👍
yes make a bitmap copy and trace is way to go if you want to bake it . Somtimes also grouping works but tracing it is safer
which version of inkscape is this? dont have tiling
1.2.1 download from inkscape.org
@@AdamBelis thanks
👏
Enjoy your videos. I'm no where near your level, just beginning. Can you possibly show or create a file that makes a swoosh of hair that looks like Donald Trump's?
Seems really weird this isn't a feature in Inkscape itself. While your method works, looks good and is decently practical, it is extremely taxing for rendering (rendering hundreds or thousands of circles is not that performant, who could've guessed) - Inkscape starts lagging on my decent computer after just a few paths with such an effect. This should seriously just be a gradient option
yes i would low this in inskcape my guess would be this is outside of SVG spec so nobody though of adding it . but this method I show is little bit more flexible coz it always you to sue castom shapes
@@AdamBelis True, it would be impossible to save to SVG unless the format got updated. I kind of want to make an extension for it, but at the same time I can't be bothered yet so maybe later.
@@absolutewisp export could be proabbly woraround / have a png fallback
@@AdamBelis True, but I doubt anyone will want to invest time in developing nonstandard functionality. Inkscape is a vector editor, so it would make sense for it to be able to do everything in SVGs.
@@absolutewisp oh we do that ofen in inskcape . all Live path effect are outside of standard. if you are interested in contributing come to chat :D chat.inkscape.org/home
Great job!! Thank you!!!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who notices that problem with using path operations. It annoys me that the edges that are supposed to be lined up with each other don't quite line up! I wonder if Inkscape developers have noticed too.
Its a known problem .
@@AdamBelis I hope that Inkscape developers can fix this issue or at least give us a more surefire way to fix it.
can you plz share colors code
This is working fine with curves but not with polyline, what to do ?
ye this is a limitation of this tcheqnike its not very good with straight lines. The best thing you can do is to add small corners sith LPE corners to spline that is used for bend.
This should be a standard feature, with an on canvas node to indicate direction and amount.
yes it would be nice to have a blure tool
that's cool! thank you🙏
Good to know!!!👍👍👍
the "disappearing double pupil" trick to randomize the position is brilliant! thank you🙏
hehe disappearing double pupil sounds like magic trick rutine :D
Trying to figure out where to use this. Thank you.
Ywha i could add more examples next time !
Thanks for Inkscape Tutorial. I like it
