I remember buying this when it was released. I went across to Birmingham (from Belfast on the L'Pool ferry) overnight. I taped the whole album and listened on my walkman, I stood outside watching the sea and the waves in the dark, in particular Dazzle Ships (I - VI) with the whales, it was INCREDIBLE!!!

Man I saw the documentary Hunting Venus about these guys, so I'm trying to get them onto a festival alongside these other bands I saw in music documentaries. Proposed Line-Up & Documentary I saw them in Jocks Wahey - The Young Person's Guide To Becoming a Rock Star (Good to open with some young talent) Bad News - We Are Bad News (A bit raw but they have an edge ) The Venus Hunters - Hunting Venus (Bit of 80's) The Wonders - That Thing You Do (Catchy rock n roll - hope they're not retired now) Marvin Berry & The Starlighters - Back to the Future (Who knew time travel existed? If they're not still around perhaps I could get that car to bring them back) Spinal Tap - This is Spinal Tap (A guilty pleasure. I love Smell the Glove and Break like the wind) Headliner : The Blues Brothers - The Blues Brothers (Provided they're no longer in jail) Should cater to all , huh?

I never understood why this was left off the main album. Its literally the name of the album..and a very good song.. It being the b-side was a definite misstep. Could have been a hit song!!

Weird this is, I've had this CD single in my OMD collection since the 90's and I never knew this song was on there.

The chorus sounds like CCR’s Have You Ever Seen the Rain. It’s meaning is so beautiful and deep. I hope y’all will always be young at heart.

What does this mean then? It was never intended for OMD use, yet Andy sings it? Or Andy just didn't want to include on any solo album he did in the 90s? Woulda worked on "The Pacific Age" or a B-sides album. What year was it done then?

OMD needs to release another B sides album. Navigation didn't have this track on it. This is one song that I don't have in my collection and this song is great. Maybe their best B side. There are so many good B sides that weren't on Navigation like this song, "All She Wants Is Everything", "Satellite" and "Strange Sensations".
